Subject: Books

Every one mentions that there are 4 FK books, (The
three published for open market, the one "underground"
book by Jean (Wonderful! The best of the 4), but there
is another... just not in a paperback book, more like
a fan-zine but I feel it requires mention:

Vickie Holt's : Vengeance is Mine (Still available
to buy and you can have it autographed! AND I hear
that an audioplay is being made of it.. wink, wink!
check below...)
Vickie's book is well written, suspenseful and true
to the characters of Nick, LaCroix, Tracy and Vachon.
It's well worth a read and a listen (sorry I had to do
that).

I have done what everyone told me to, to remove the =20 things. Sorry about
my last post, but the select all and choosing normal text seems to only work
sometimes. I can't wait to see how this post turns out, as i tried something
different. If i can't get this right, i'll switch to another e-mail account
so i can stop torturing ya'll :)

does it really matter? It may be that the set decorator chose that
particular painting to depict the ambiguity of Nick's and Lacroix's love
/hate relationship. In which case how clever of him.

Just echoing Megan - where can we get Vengeance is Mine?

And then, for those of us who missed out on getting On Holy Ground, is there
anywhere we can read the text, at least? (I like the stories but $$ are very
tight.)

Favorite things:

The Raven - The bar in the second season.

The Loft - The piano with the candelabra, I think. Or, maybe, the piano
with the candelabra, with Nick sitting at the piano <g>. Actually, what I
like best about the loft is the juxtaposition between things that look sort
of gothic and things that look modern.

The Precinct - The shot of it from the outside. (Yeah, I know it's really
a library, but don't disillusion me.)

The second and third season precinct (96th) was actually played by
the Hockey Hall of Fame (looks much more impressive on tv than in
real life - I almost walked right by it without realising what it
was)
Not sure what building played the first season precinct.

Robin is right. The 2nd and 3rd season precinct was played by the
Saulter Street branch of the Toronto Public Library. The Hockey Hall of
Fame has a completely different doorway.

I don't think this is correct. The building we see as the precinct in the
second and third seasons is a public library in the same neighborhood that
houses both Jilly's strip bar and the warehouse/auto repair shop used as Nick's
loft.

The Hockey Hall of Fame is on the edge of downtown Toronto, isn't it? On Front
Street or thereabouts?

Ok, I have been meaning to say this, but kept forgetting - the lady
who plays his ex-girfrield, Nicole de Boer - played Jeannie in DK!

Ok back to work.

At first glance, the way they had him made up, he looked a lot like
Aristotle.
