Actually, that was something I was considering as part of a plot, but
at the moment, my muse has writer's block on FK, so I'm working on
other fan fiction and original fiction. :)

, maybe Nick's relatives would find him.

after what happened to Andre, Nick would probably have gone down as the
ancester that sold his soul to the devil.

I think a story involving one of Nick or rather Andre descendants would be
quite fun. But remember the number of descendants multiplies with each
generation. Think of Nick's family as a gigantic pyramid with Fleur and
Nick at the peak.

it takes 13 generations to take my family back to the early 1600's. One
of those families had 22 children. mind you only 11 survived but you can
see what I mean.

Nick could find out he was related to Schanke. There are people of all
nationalities descended from the fifty surviving passengers on the
Mayflower.

Yeah. I was watching (ok, listening to it as I did other stuff)
Junkyard Wars and heard them keep saying Geraint. Turns out that was
the name of one of the competitors.

So, exactly how common is 'Geraint' as a name in Wales? Is it like
John in the US?

I finally broke down and got this from half.com. It is really good!
There were several "plugs" for Mr. Bennett which was sort of nice
when I caught on to them.
Does anyone know if Mr. Bennett is going to write a third book? I've
enjoyed the first two very much.

I think it's called 'Siege Impossible' but I'm not
positive. I got the tidbits from NigelBennett group
and there's a bit on his website,
http://www.blackhatstation.com . Nice site, check it
out. The word is that right now, there's an outline in
progress. So it's in the early stages. Oh yeah, and
there's an audiobook of the first book, it's 20-some
dollars from the website link and 30-something on
Amazon.com

My two cents:

I have a black 2002 Tram Am Conv. [which I love to drive with the top down
like Nick] Which I had 'Raven' painted on the back bumper. And my plate is
'N Knight'. Which I hope to cahnge to "The Raven".

I love hearing about people's vanity plates! I just wish I could get
one---but in Minnesota, they cost about $150. That's a little too
steep for me.

(My favorite vanity plate ever---a pale metallic green VW Beetle with
the plate, "Aphid." Yup, that green is *precisely* the color of an
aphid!)

It's a pretty common name there and the name Davies is
also very common, so there are quite a few "Geraint
Davies" living in GB (not only in Wales). They even
got a MP of that name.
With our boy it's the "Wyn" that makes the difference.

scars disappear or do they stay
with the vampire?

According to the series premiere (Dark Knight) a vampire will
retain the scars that they have pre-crossing.
Once a vampire, any injury they sustain appears to heal completely
(no scar).

It's common enough so that if you go into tourist
shops in Wales (and other parts of the UK) that sell
named items (keychains, mugs, etc.), its already there
on the shelves. No special orders. My sister,
Marjorie, can't even find her name here in the States.

I won't have to wait three years after its in print to read it. They
really write a good story. I'd reccommend the books to anyone who

Elizabeth the Lepar regained her beauty, losing all the damage the leprosy
did to her. And while Constantine didn't get any younger, he was walking
again, without the help of oxygen.

So, like most of FK canon, you can pretty much pick what you want to go
