Just tuned in to a [new to me] show, Once a Thief. The episode was "Drive, She
Said" and who to my wondering eyes should appear, but Nigel and John and Greg.
Also Julian Riching who played Dr. Paul Dana in A More Permanent Hell.

Uncle with a tank named Betty, Screed face down in a cow pie, ...

Words fail.

Oh yeah, Nigel's character was named Nicholas Love.

And, by the way, Greg Kramer's character, Mr. Murphy, was a recurring
character in the series, along with Julian Richings.

Also, I owe someone a tape of this episode. If she's reading this, I *DO*
remember, I just haven't had time to make it! <g>

I was a member of this list a few years ago. Real life has intruded since then.
:) But I am still an avid FK fan. My husband and I are going to be visiting
Toronto in March probably. I would love to be able to visit some of the sites
where they filmed FK. I remember reading about which building was used for the
police precinct and Raven's, but can't remember now where they are. If anyone
could help I would be most appeciative.

Thanks,

Deb

Contact me offlist, Debbie. I'll be glad to give you and your hubbie an FK Tour
of Toronto. If you've never been to Toronto and you are staying for a couple of
days, you should arrange to tour the Royal Ontario Museum (DK), Casa Loma
(Father Figure & Francesca) and of course the CN Tower (Baby, Baby) as well.

Subject: Nick Knight DVD coming in March

This is being cross-posted from Usenet because I expect the overlap between the
newsgroup and this list is much smaller than it used to be:

While updating the alt.tv.forever-knight Merchandise Mini-FAQ, I
discovered that Anchor Bay Entertainment is (finally!) releasing the
"Nick Knight" pilot movie on DVD.
The Amazon, B&N, Best Buy, and Blockbuster websites are accepting
pre-orders for a March 4, 2003 release.

Anchor Bay had originally tentatively scheduled NK for release in July
2001, but that was later pushed back to "To Be Announced," and the
movie's listing later disappeared from their website. It's now back.

Anchor Bay is the same company which publishes the first Highlander film
on DVD and is currently releasing box sets of the Highlander series
starring Adrian Paul. (Season 1 is widely available, Season 2 is
available from the official HL website.)
Those in charge of letter-writing campaigns to get FK on DVD may wish to
consider adding Anchor Bay to their list of letter recipients. If there
are strong sales of the NK DVD, perhaps they might be willing to try to
work out a deal with Sony for the series.

But it is already out on DVD and has been for a while. I just found two more
copies of it last weekend at Hastings.

I don't think it is the same company, though.

Thanks, troops! I've got about 20 people besides me who got the story, so I
think the problem is either a node that's holding up mail or a gateway problem
somewhere.

Thanks again.

You forgot one very important character -- the caddy. It is strange to
see "Screed" driving it. Also Jennifer Dale was the Baroness in FK's If
Looks Could Kill, I believe. What other episodes can you see FK alumni
in Once a Thief? I think that there are several.

Greg "Screed" Kramer most definitely was NOT driving the Caddy (even as Mr.
Murphy <g>) Why? Greg doesn't know how to drive and doesn't like cars so I don't
think they could have talked him into it *IF* they'd let him. It has been a
while since I saw the episode, but I believe it was The Director's (as in the
character The Director) car so she's the one who was driving it.

He was really driving the vintage motorcycle. He's told me that the owner of the
bike was just off screen, very afraid he'd really "open it up" or something.<g>
