Two questions

Was Ann Foley the wolf or the poodle?

Did Schanke know what was going down? I have listened to the dialogue
between Nick and Schanke before they confront Ann and have never yet been
able to figure whether or not Schanke knew Nick was going to pretend to
kill him.

She was a tough little poodle who thought she was a big bad wolf.

Darn--fell asleep during that part last night. As I recall, though, my
impression on previous viewings was that Schanke was in on it.
Otherwise, would it have worked? And to spring something like that on
Schanke would be a heck of a way to treat your partner; regardless of
anything else, you have to be able to trust him.

It is still amazing to me, that after all this time I can still find something
that I did not see before. I know we accuse Nick of being a brick, but I think
in this case I am going to have to join him. ;} (but what nice company) When
Nick takes Bernice to the Raven so she can let off steam and she is dancing
(here is when light bulb goes off) she is using all older dance steps. I see
her do the swim and a bunch of others I am not sure of the names. Talk about a
subtle reference to her true age. Pretty neat. Anyway, that was my observation
for today. It will also cause me to rewrite a part of my story that I have been
working on, but at the rate I am going, it may never see the light of day
anyway! (pun intended, ducking for cover) Ok, ok, I am going back to lurking.

I think FK is consistant with most other vampire lore
in that they've shown a person having to be drained
first, then given the vampire's blood in order to come
across.

Okay, I love Space, even if the quality of some of their FK tapes seems
to be a little substandard. Yesterday's ep (Dying to Know You) had a
scene Showcase never aired: Schanke drinking Nick's "protein shake".
Loved it! Showcase, for some reason, kept the scenes of Nick using a
baseball to put dents in his elevator door, and playing chess with
himself, but cut this one. What *were* they thinking?!

Happy dance of new FK-ness!

P.S. I Will Repay will air Friday, so I can *finally* see the notorious
popcorn scene.

I'm pretty sure that the popcorn scene was the tag to
False Witness and not IWR.
