Subject: Hurrah(and a hello) for this list...

I just wanted to say hello to the list once more. I was here from about
1995 til early 1998, before my internet access became unstable and I just
couldn't keep up with the list. After a couple of Forever Knight
conversations with friends who asked if they could borrow my tape
collection, I started thinking about the list again. I did some searching
on the web, quite disappointed to find many of my favorite FK websites
hadn't been updated in years. Managed to track down how to subscribe to the
list again, crossed my fingers, and hoped that there were still people
here....

Well, I haven't been subscribed for very long thus far, but I've already
seen some traffic, which has certainly warmed my heart. I look forward to a
frequent infusion of things Knightish once again...it makes one feel good to
realize that there are still fans out there. =) I'll slip into lurker mode
now to get myself reaquainted with the list, but I just wanted to say
hello...again. =)

Welcome back, Wade! Yes, there's still life on the list, although it's nothing
like it was in its heyday. Why not initiate some chatter? We could do with some
new-old blood!

And you might want to look at the FK groups hosted by yahoogroups.com. There are
quite a number of faction lists there, and they still chug along quite happily.

Subject: Major Update - Happy Thanksgiving!

Greetings,

I created *10* new sites for FK! They are episode fanlistings, featuring a
united list of the fans of these episodes, special graphics, info, extra
goodies, and more. The episodes included are:

- Be My Valentine
- Crazy Love
- Dance by the Light of the Moon
- Dark Knight 1&2
- Feeding the Beast
- For I Have Sinned
- Games Vampires Play
- Sons of Belial
- Stranger Than Fiction
- The Fix

Anja has also created a fanlisting for Night in Question.

Visit them all through "Blood Line" here:

http://www.honeybat.com/kristin2/Forever_Knight/bloodline_episodes.htm

If you don't have time to visit or if your browser does not support forms,
feel free to e-mail me directly and let me know which episodes you are fond
of: kris1228@e.......

You may also request a favorite episode you would like to see a fanlisting
for, but I am waiting to see how these do before I consider making more.

As always, feedback is greatly appreciated and Happy Thanksgiving!

Find your vampire name! Go to:

http://www.emmadavies.net/vampire/default.asp

to find out who you really are.

Here are some results I came up with:

Me: Constance Wolf, also known as Athene of the Lost (I rather like
that---brainy and confused at the same time!)

Nick: High Priest of Persia, also known as Wraith of Raven's Wings
Natalie: High Priestess of Angels, also known as Consort of Raven's Wings (gee,
think the author knew a bit about FK? <g>)
Lacroix: Balo Mare, also known as Consort of the Howling Wolves
Janette: Empress of the Night, also known as Aphrodite of the Steely Moon
(nice!)

Enjoy!

At least when I use my maiden name I end up being named "Lady of the

Mine says this:

Iolanthe Shakespeare

Known in some parts of the world as:

Cerridwen of Slaves In Chains

The Great Archives Record:

Silently this one moves amongst the helpless and the oppressed.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I like the last part--not so sure on the "slaves in
chains" things.

How fun, thanks gang!!

Uh-oh, the website's computer must be on the fritz now,
because look what I got:

For Sami Thompson:
Sorceress of Flesh/Seductress of the Balkans
An animal-like vampire who can barely speak; everything
is actions with with one. It runs with the deer.

For Swan Thompson:
Sorceress of Flesh/Seductress of Bats & Shadows
Slipping amongst shadows, flitting between dark places,
always quiet.

I don't "flit" - I usually just fall over. Runs with the deer?
I use a wheelchair at the airport. And quiet? Me? Hahahaha!
The only time I shut up is when I'm under general anesthesia.
Maybe the Sorceress of the Flesh thing keeps coming up because
I'm fat?

Somebody else try this and tell us about it, okay?

Sami

Okay, here's mine:

Princess of Night, Concubine of the Beltane Feasts. One of ritual and
pleasure--presiding over the gluttonous feasts of the wickedest night of the
year.

I get that whether I put my full name or the shortened version.

My mother's is even better: Rani of Night, Concubine of Sewer Rats! (Well,
she is rather fond of Screed...)

Thanks for sharing this with us, Nancy. :)

Hi Everyone:

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here in the
states!

As for the vampire name, the archive told me that
I am also the Duke of Night

Known in some parts of the world as:

Hierophant of The Underworld

The Great Archives Record:

Of the world below, creeping amongst the
catacombs and sewers of the city.

Now I know why I'm not a big fan of Screed. I
must have run into him too many times. <shrug>

Thanks

David

I like both of these...

Using my actual name, I get:

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
          Duchess of Persia
Known in some parts of the world as:
          Wraith of Blood
        The Great Archives Record:
          Thirsty, unstoppable and vicious.

With my nickname, "Cat," the variation:

The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the identity:
          Sultana of Persia
Known in some parts of the world as:
          Wraith of Gypsies
        The Great Archives Record:
A traveller of travellers, of good humour but dangerous.

I suppose my husband would say it all depends on where I am in my "moon
cycle." ;-) He's certainly encountered the "Wraith of Blood" during certain
months, and still loves me--what a guy!

Mine ended up like this:
The Great Archives determine you to have gone by the
identity:
Chastity Pope
Known in some parts of the world as:
Seductress of Wraiths
The Great Archives Record:
A needy and violent spirit.

Violent, sure. Needy? Dunno. And how, exactly, does
one seduce a wraith? <G>

Nice contrast between the name and the function. *grin*
