I think that he put the incident in the back of his mind and tried to forget
about it, but it's still there, since LaCroix never whammied him. I don't
think they ever said in canon whether or not Schanke still believed it, but I'm
willing to bet the memory niggled at him from time to time. :)

I've noticed FK lists tend to be among the nicest place on the web, too, and
I've been a lot of places on the web.<g> We have our spats, but they are never
long lived.

Just keep in mind that McLisa always leaves out the most important list rule!

That's one of the main reasons I'm so proud of this list and honored to be one
of the listowners. Take a bow, Forkni-lers.

And if that doesn't work, McLisa has a definite affinity for cats. In fact, I
have seven of them (hey, I never said I was sane.)

John Doe's are numbered. That was either the 199th one that year or since
they started numbering.

An item on our sorta local NPR station today was about a new book by the
chair of the English Department at the University of Missouri at Rolla,
titled _Autobiography in Shakespeare's Plays_. The author's name? W.
Nicholas Knight.

For the press release on the book (to see if it was something our Nick
would write), try http://www.umr.edu/index.php?id=864&backPID=246&tt_news=35

The university faculty in English page doesn't say when he joined the
faculty...

Another lurker here speaking up...

I am one of those who found Forever Knight when it was shown on USA. A
boring Monday Night Football game prompted me to surf the channels and I
landed on the opening sequences of Black Buddha, Part 1. The remote was not
picked up again that evening. And every Monday night thereafter I would
turn to USA at 10pm EST to watch. But as I watched, I realized that this
was not a new show, despite how it was advertised in the TV Guide. So in my
thirst for more information on FK, I got online and learned all about the
Internet, and with a friend's help discovered the websites for Mr. Happy
(remember his question of the week?), the FK fan club (now disbanded) and
the GWDFC (a proud member for 8 yrs). Thru these two clubs I was able to
get tapes of Seasons 1 and 2. So I was watching these tapes as Season 3
progressed. Definately sensory overload of the most pleasant kind. It
wasn't until after Christmas of that year that I found this list and joined.
Through the GWDFC I got to attend Gerthering 2 in Thousand Oaks, CA - which
happened only a few months after "Last Knight" was shown and boy did we make
Ger do a lot of explaining!!

I decided that I must be a Knightie and so joined that faction. Many moons
later, Barbara Vainio put out a call to all of us who were also lovers of
the equine kind, and Les Chevaliers de la Nuit was born.

I have no cyber reputation, except that in the last war, War 11, I was a
Knightie war leader-in-training, and I think that I had some small measure
of influence in our faction getting a teensy bit more respect <saluting the
War Mistress>. In a war, the Knighties don't really participate in attacks,
because, well, Knighties are *nice*, and we angst a lot too. But we did
have some fun, and geez, we even got to wear leather, thanks to Nick
Slacker!!!

This was fun!!
