Subject: Thanks from a nominee

Now that the awards are over, I just wanted to express my thanks for making
the final nominations list. It was very flattering that my story, being a
crossover, made it onto a final ballot in a general fiction category. I
appreciate the support a great deal, and wanted to take a moment to say,
"Thank you!"

And special thanks to Nancy for all the hard work she put into holding
these awards.

Yes, I definitely  believe that the gorgeous black squirrels are vampire
squirrels.  The reason you don't see them out at night is because they are
*black*.  It's camouflage.  Also, they can fly.  (flying squirrels).  You
sometimes see them during the day because they tolerate daylight better than
the human class of vamp.  All that fur provides protection from sunlight
better than Nick's long coat, gloves, hat and shades.
No I am not squirrel-y in the cabeza.
