Yikes!

Nat 99.9
Vachon 96
Janette 94.5
Tracy Vetter 86.5
Lacroix 75.5

Well, those are my top 5 . . . still only 75.5 with LaCroix =0\ and 86.5
match with tracy (okay, so it's true, i am as perky as she is, but . . .well
really) . . . actually, funny thing is, those matches would rate my
personality pretty well. . . like i said, yikes!

I'm trying to get a FK mini forum started at Ascifi.com, which is a really great
science fiction fan site. Please come and vote yes, so the moderators will see
how much interest there is in this great show and start a mini-forum. It would
be another good place to recruit fans for the mailing lists, as well.

How was my weekend? Well, my best friend convinced her ex-
boyfriend's current girlfriend's little brother that she was cool
by eating a live cricket. It went down hill from there.

It's interesting that my top three didn't change, Nat, Janette and
Vachon are still 99.9%

Sunny! That's not fair! Vancouver isn't that bad (hey, they have 2 Ikeas)
... But where they really should go is Victoria, BC. They could have tea
at The Empress, visit the Wax Museum (skip the chamber of horrors of
course), tour a Russian submarine, go to the Undersea Gardens, check out the
fireworks at Buchart Gardens... and if they do end up feeling romantic, then
maybe a ride in one of the horse-drawn carriages. =)

Actually I can hear more of her in the mom than in Jean Grey. I would never
have guessed she was Jean outside of a few places that she sounds like Nat,
because she sounds completely different as Jean.

She did get squeaky in a couple of FK eps, Curiouser and Curiouser comes to
mind (the scene at Capt. Nat's apartment), and one from another episode where
she's at the loft.

There are a couple of X-Men eps where she did a lot of the background voices.

<< While it's true that the script doesn't say anything about LC's doping
Nat's drink, I've been meaning to explain that the idea began when Catherine
Disher tried to do something about the continuity problem. CBS cut the scene
in which we learned this in Only the Lonely, but Natalie was immune to Nick's
attempt to hypnotize her after he revived in the morgue. So she played the
scene with the subtext that LC had doped Nat's drink. >>

I thought the script hinted that there was something in the drink, but didn't
come out right and say it was drugged.

I thought it was smart of her to play as if she'd been drugged. I can see LC
doing that to get around her resistor status, and just for fun.

You're welcome! I'm enjoying doing the announcements. It's always nice
to know though that others are enjoying them too.

Subject: Schanke sound files

Last century, I made a slew of sound files for BJ Turner's FoD page. This site
is now gone, as are my copies of dozens of Don-centric .wavs. Does anyone out
there have these on backup? I'd really like to restore my files without having
to record those snips again. Thanks.
