The actual prop from the series is, as you say, metallic gold with black
lettering and has the Raven logo on it.

There is a restaurant in Virginia Beach called The Raven that has a red
matchbook with black lettering - similar enough to be cool, but not a prop.

What you saw on Ebay are fan-manufactured Raven matchbooks that were sold
by the people who published the FK Zine "Night Beat." So although they are
collectors items, they are not props.

While sitting here at the computer in the school library, I started talking with
a friend of mine from church. We discussed housing woes and decided we'd make
darn good roommates. Then, because I've had roomies that are decidedly
squeemish about my addiction to vampires, I asked hesitently if she had heard of
FK.
"No."
"Well, it's about a vampire... "
"I LOVE VAMPIRES!!!"
<<G>> So I told her a little about the show and she's psyched to see my tapes.
See, people just don't know about the show!!!
Melissa Iketau, say hello to all the nice fans:Hello everybody!! I am a fan of
vampires from childhood and have read "Gentleman Vampire" by PN Elrod. ;-) But
it has been so long since I have seen or heard of any other activities for the
vampire fans! Nice to know we're all still out there!

I did better when I entered my complete name. the formal version worked
best with Nick and the semi formal version worked better with LaCroix. Up
to that point in time my cat was more compatable with everybody She was
especially compatable with Nick . Even using the formal version of my name
  she got 29% to my 11% .

By the way Did anyone else's results vary from one day to the next? I
got 5% yesterday with Nick and 11% tonight.

Sunny has visions of wicked dark cousins chasing her
through shadowy alleys while their evil laughter echoes
around her. Just as she thinks she’s escaped them she
bumps into a tall, black-cloaked figure with a buzz cut
and glistening fangs who grabs her before she can go
anywhere and…

Ok, I’ve got to wake up now.

But you might be right, Molly. I am not that much of a
light and bright Knightie after all. I lean toward Nick’s
dark side more than his goody side and I’m a Cousin of
the Knight so LaCroix is in there somewhere. But I’m
still a sucker for Nicki-poo, because he is soooooo cute.

There's always the Honeymoon Capital of Canada, Niagara Falls. Maybe
they'd get a klew there. <g>

But my personal favourite for a getaway would be a nice Bed & Breakfast
at Niagara-on-the-Lake where they could attend the Shaw Festival
together, or a B&B at the Stratford Festival where they could catch a
play or two and dine at the Church Restaurant (which used to be a real
church).

Do what I did -- read the source code! The whole "compatibility" thing is
based on how many times the letters in the word "love" appear in the
character's name and in your name, and how short (in number of letters) is
the combination of your name and the chararcter's name. Most of the folk
here come up high on Lacroix and Vachon because "Lucien Lacroix" has two
L's, an E, and an O, and Javier Vachon has two V's, an E, and an O. We come
up low on "Nick Knight" because there is no L, O, V, *or* E in his name...

It's about as accurate as those bird-mouthed-shaped devices we used to make
out of paper when we were in grade school...

Normally Canadians head north to "cottage country". I was up in Alliston (a
bit south of cc, I think) two weeks ago and it was all farm country with
some very nice inns and B&B's. Very relaxing, though I got caught in
something called a "Wing Ding".

the only authentic matchbook props are the gold ones. and the ones we sold

offered to give him my computer when I get a new one (probably some time next
fall, depending on how the economy is doing), but he said no. Once in a while,
I print out a fan fic. His favorite character is LaCroix. Any recommendations?

Disney World!

Okay, that's actually where I want Nick to take *me.* To tell the truth, I
don't care who takes me - - any volunteers? "g" I wanna go!

Serious answer? Um...how about a place created specifically for relaxation,
like a spa or a lodge that specializes in mud treatments, massage, therapy
sessions (though I think they would pass on that), work-out facilities, biking
and hiking, arts and crafts, etc.

Hey! I resent that implication! I am, after all, NOT a ratpacker, but a
honorable Cousinly-Receptionist-in-training! And, as such, I would have
*no* reason to lead any of you astray! Honest. Really. <big, wide,

I have, however, reviewed the code -- which was freeware and not original.
Apparently it was written by someone who believes that love makes the world
go 'round, when, in fact, I know it's a bunch of other four letter words
which are to blame -- maybe even a few five and six letter words, too.

Under Bonnie's modified compatibility calculator,
McLisa is 89.5% compatible with Natalie, but only 50% compatible with LC.

Neither is surprising. If the Natpack permitted multiple allegiances, I'd be in
it. As for LC, my war time persona tends to be at serious odds with him, such as
the time I attacked him with the undead lobster and the pot of garlic butter.
And then there was the time I introduced a thousand glowing pink mice into CERK
(with help from the Rat Pack. I was playing as an independent in that war.)

McLisa (whose war time persona is usually drunk, which explains some of it)
