Oh, I would love to see that! Who would be her teacher: Duncan,

He wouldn't have had to see them. Some people (me, Rose, and Chrisi, to
name a few) can literally hear electronic equipment when it's on. (High,
peircing tone-- really annoying) Everything, from TVs to video cameras,
produces the same sound, though the cheaper ones are a lot louder. (I've
been in motel rooms where the sound of the TV turning on has nearly crippled
me.) Betcha vampires can hear it. :)

One of the items I've shelved for a few years is some of the Raven wine
bottle labels I received from props people because, frankly, I had no idea
how to properly displayed them.

I've settled on matting them, the first of two types in an easily frameable
8x10 mat, the second (Baron De Lucard - I kid you not!) in an easily
frameable 5x7 mat.

They're on Ebay now. Plus I'll be donating sets to the charity auctions as
well. I only had a handful of these, so when they're gone, they're
gone. They are original prop labels for Raven bottles, not duplications.

Subject: 2001 FK Fanfic Awards---FINALISTS ANNOUNCED!

(Please forward this notice to any FK list you're on and that isn't listed in
the To: list. Thanks!)

I'm pleased to announce the final ballot for the 2001 Forever Knight Fan Fiction
Awards!

http://www.nancykam.com/2001awards/fanficawards.htm

Actually, there are still two authors I haven't heard from, so there might be
two additional listings (a general novel, and an adult novella), but I wanted to
get the list published as soon as possible.

So please go and start reading! The voting pages will be up shortly. Voting will
be open until June 12, so you've got a month to consider all the entries. And
remember---do drop the authors a note if you like their works. There's an email
link with each story link.

On the voting pages, you'll have the option to vote for an entry or vote for "no
vote". You'll be required to register one or the other. If the "no vote" option
receives more votes than any listed story, there will be no winner in that
category. This is needed especially in the categories that have fewer than the
maximum five entries. There will be no winners by default!

Thanks for all of those of you who nominated stories. I'll be looking for votes
from all of you! <g>

And remember, you can still request voter ID numbers right up until the voting
deadline of June 12. Just go to http://www.nancykam.com/2001awards/voterid.htm
and fill out the form.

Thanks again, all you fanfic fans! Not get out there and READ!

Something very very embarrasing. Like LaCroix in pink bunny slippers. :-)

I've been "no mail" for a while again. It must be an MSN thing. Anyway,
this might have already been posted while I was away.

From the SciFi Channel Newsletter #263:

Tracker Fans Write Letters
Fans of the syndicated SF TV series Tracker are mounting a letter-writing
campaign to cable television networks to save the imperiled show. Organizers
of the campaign say that Lions Gate, which produces Tracker, is shopping the
series to cable networks and is encouraging fans to write.

Meanwhile, more than 2,200 fans have signed an online petition to save the
show.

Can someone forward a copy of this story to me? I can't open ftp at work, so
need a "hard" copy.

Truly a pity I missed his first scene. Make-up certainly did a marvelous
job on him in the second: he was actually paler than Nick!

It couldn't be Duncan. He has a problem teaching women,
especially if they're attractive.

I've been thinking about this discussion for some time, and have
come up with a couple of possibilities.

But why shouldn't at least some of the Medical Examiners, having
training in forensic pathology, also take part-time jobs as
on-scene coroners the way other doctors can?

As I recall, a few times it was mentioned that Nat was some sort
of genius. Geniuses (if they aren't slso learning disabled like
the one writing this :)) sometimes finish high-school and college
younger than other people would. Those of you who watched E.R. in
its first season, remember how old Carter was in his third year
of Med school? He waas 21. If he could do it, then Natalie
Lambert could have also.
