Besides the title of the ep? ;-) (You're describing the murders from
"Feeding the Beast." Confused me for a minute.)

The killer injecting the second victim after knocking him out wasn't just in
the Canadian version -- we saw it in the original CBS airing too. I haven't
paid close enough attention to the SciFi airings to know whether it got
shaved, but I *thought* I saw it this last time around. Then again, I
watched all of first season about a dozen times apiece (especially after
they stopped airing it in Denver and the tapes I got from Jack here in
Columbus were the source for everyone I knew), so I may have confabulated it
because I expected to see it.

As for how Nick knew, we enter the scene in media res, and I've always
assumed he had already gotten a preliminary report from Nat, and/or from the
forensics guys who would have found the syringe by the body, and was passing
on that information. Hilary was sending a message with the murders, so I
figured she left it there intending for it to be found, especially because
they made a point of showing her hands in gloves while using it.

I was just thinking about this flashback again the
other day. Natalie didn't know about the pipe bomb
until Eddie told her and she definitely didn't see
Nick until she unzipped the body bag. My question is
why? She wasn't at the crime scene or she would have
been expecting the body when it was rolled in. Why
wasn't she at the crime scene? She goes to all the
other crime scenes, why not Nick's? If it was a
different jurisdiction, then why was he brought to
her? Is this just another oversight? Any ideas?

Nat can't be the only pathologist in Toronto. There must be a sizeable
staff---surely someone else attended to this crime scene.

We see her at all the rest of the crime scenes because they're investigated by
Nick---he's the hero, she's the supporting role, and they work on a plot
together.

Other pathologists do other detectives' crime scenes. But they must be in those
other cop series, right? <g>

Just got this update from the Stratford Festival!!

May 2, 2002 . . .
Geraint Wyn Davies, appearing at the Stratford Festival of Canada from July 13
to September 14 as Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady, will also take on the
character of Dylan Thomas in Do Not Go Gentle, a one-man show about the Welsh
poet written by Festival alumnus Leon Pownall.

There are three performances of the play: August 22, August 23 and August 28 at
8 p.m. at the new Studio Theatre, located in the Avon Theatre complex.

Mr. Pownall returns in the Festival's golden 50th season to play Abraham in
Bereav'd of Light by Winnipeg playwright Ian Ross. It runs at the Studio Theatre
from July 28 to August 25.

And perhaps the medical examiner at the crime scene was at the end of his or
her shift and was going home, so they gave Nick's body to Nat to autopsy.
Not a bad deal, I might add. :-)

Hi!
Have just discovered that one of my FK bookmarks doesn't
work anymore. The site is called "A Little Knight Magic"
and used to be at www.knightmagic.org
I would appreciate it if the owner would contact me
offlist and let me know whether the site have moved or is
completely gone.

Thanks,
Sunny
