Subject: About the FK Bboards

FROM SUSAN:

FK fans, please please post as much and as often as you can to any/all FK
boards... such as Sci-fi's:

http://www.scifi.com/bboard/browse.cgi?1&5&528

TPTB do read these, and it's important to show that we haven't gone any place
and that we are indeed strong in numbers.Strong enough to make it worth thier
time and effort to want to bring more FK back to us in all forms. So please,
anytime you are online, take the time to post. It only takes a few moments of
your time and would really help our cause.

Thanks to all..

I grew up with both parents living with me and i called my dad by his
nickname, Benny. No one told me not to do it, and after i was older it was,
to me sort of like that word was dad. I'm 24 now and i still call him
that...which hurts his feelings but i can't change now lol. Anyway my advice
is if you want your kids calling you mom or dad, instill that in them
early--otherwise even if you get them to say it later on--it will be more
like just a word to them than it really being your name. And if you're
wondering, my older sister calls him "my dad" instead of simply "Dad", but my
father doesn't see that she's referring to him as her dad not so much as that
being his name. I call my mom "Mom" ....which further totally confuses my
younger half sister--haha!

>Festival of Canada. It is a big glossy folded ad - the front looks like

According to the Festival office that picture will be available
on-line at the Stratford web site (http://www.stratfordfestival.ca/)
sometime within the coming week.

Information on the Festival's 50th season is available at the
Stratford web site. Tickets just went on general sale and are doing
well.

We have information on MFL on the GWDFC's web site at
http://www.gwdfc.org . (Stop and read Ger's poem written on his first
flight after September 11. It's beautiful! )

>Also - a second featutre for hard core fans - Colm Feore (someone
>please explain who he is again-).

Colm Feore, Ger and Richard Monette will all play Henry to Cynthia
Dale's Eliza during the play's run. Ger will appear from July 14 to
September 14.

Colm played "Walken" in the FK ep "Blood Money". He also appeared as
Ger's twin brother in "The Boys from Syracuse" at Stratford and Ger
played Hortensio to Colm's Petruchio (also at Stratford).

Cynthia Dale starred in Street Legal - Ger appeared in an episode
titled "The Wedding". She also shared the stage with Ger at the
opening of the Hummingbird Theatre. Richard Monette appeared in
"Dancing in the Dark" as one of the other doctors.

Other Ger co-stars performing at Stratford this year are:
Christopher Plummer (Conspiracy of Fear), James Blendick (Alfred
Hitchcock "Reunion"), Lucy Peacock (FK "Human Factor", The Taming of
the Shrew (OSC)), Peter Donaldson (FK "Queen of Harps") and Peter
Hutt (FK "Strings").

Colm Feore appeared in the Stratford Festival with GWD in the 1986 season
(the two starred together as the "identical" twins in _The Boys From
Syracuse_.) Mr. Feore later appeared in a double guest role in FK in the
episode "Blood Money." He played the scumbag nightclub owner in the
present-day story and Nick's partner in the kidnapping of the (historically
nonexistant) Dauphin in the flashback. Mr. Feore is an extremely talented
actor who has had success both on the stage and in movies. Check the
monthly "VCR Alert" posts to this list to see just how many appearances he
has.
