Y'all
This question comes from a guy in my writing group (who also claims FK ran
for 5 seasons so if you happen to now where the other two are, let me know)
says an actress named Amanda Tapping (or Taping) was in an episode and he
would like to know which episode.

 I got the confirmation and replied to that just like the email
said.  Do I have to set categories or something?

Requests concerning the addition of a particular
series are forwarded to the appropriate department
for review.   If sufficient interest can be found
to add a new series, our Marketing and other
departments become involved.  If we are able to
offer the requested series, it will be posted on
the website or advertised through other sources.

Canadians might wish to make a more substantial donation to UNICEF than
they usually do at Halloween. A UNICEF worker interviewed on the radio last

No, you don't have to set any categories.  It's just that nobody has
posted any stories to the list lately.  If you want to receive all the
categories, you will have to sent a command to the server, thou.  If you
need help, just ask.  I'm sure that some of us would be happy to help
you.

Well **shoot!!**  SO just informed me that he missed the second ep of Wolf
Lake and he really likes it.  He has all the others shown so far.  I will
trade from my extensive Forever Knight and Alumni, Highlander and Alumni,
Buffy, Angel, Witchblade, soon to be Tracker, etc. collection for a copy of
this episode of Wolf Lake......sorry I do not know the title!!

Ok, now for somehthing **completely** off topic (well, kinda <g>)

Re: Saving Our Shows.  The FK List(s) has/have gone to great lengths to try
and save Forever Knight (and we shall keep trying, yes <g>?).  With
Highlander, at least we can get the boxed sets, but not everyone can afford
to do that, so we would like to see them air Highlander (and Forever Knight,
of course <g>) again, right?

Well, for those of us who like The Invisible Man, which has (GASP!!) been
cancelled, here is some info I was sent on how to help--don't know about you
folks, but I would like to see the I -Man continue <waves at Danielle *g*>,
and I promised I would pass this on--if I am way out of line, please do not
hesitate to tell me!!

I was under the impression that Sony owned Columbia. Is Columbia
House a completely different company?
(Just wondering why one branch of a company would have trouble
negotiating the rights to something from their parent company.)

Well it goes to show you that even though we supposedly get personal
responses with actual names on them, they do NOT read the individual
emails.  It seems like the words "Forever Knight" are just pasted in
the appropriate spots.  Maybe if there is a phone number we can call
to actually speak to a person and ask questions about rights, etc,
or even a different email where we could send these inquiries.

Well, this is Columbia House Canada, remember, I think that's why I got a
slightly different response from the rest of you guys--that's probably just
their standard form letter and they didn't bother to change it, etc etc etc.
Who knows how TPTB think (or *if* they think)? I, for one, have given up
trying to figure it out...

At the end of the article it said that the distribution section (of
the soon to be gone televsion aspect of columbia/Tri-star) would
probably still be intact.  That is the dept we need.  It is the
distribution dept that authorized rights for distribuion, (ie
distributing the rights for FK to air on a certain network)  So
hopefully we should still be ok.
