Hi Everyone...

This is just a little FYI. I found what I believe to be an new FK Fic at

http://www.geocities.com/mad_archivist/xover/newknight.html

this is an Angel/FK x-over with alot of LaCroix.

It may be a while before I get to read it as it is over 100 pgs in length.

Actually, it is only LaCroix with at least one very short conversation with
Aristotle. (I skimmed throught the story after it said it was set after
Last Knight.)

Nicholas is mentioned aplenty, but only as LaCroix reminisces on his son.
It looks to be good, but not as good as I had hoped being as Light
Squirette kept interrupting with: "NICK DID NOT DIE!!!!!"

On other news I met with yet a second disappointment. Seems the bottle of
Ribena I purchased at a Vietnamese market is a 'drink mix'. Only 4.71%
black currant juice. Dark Squirette is royally ticked. ("First curdled (a
jar of black currant jelly), now watered down! How am I gonna become a VV
(Vegetarian Vampire) when I can't get a decent 'blood' supply!"

So here I am, stuck betwixt two disgruntled fandom personalities---signing
off,

Kyer, kyer@p.......
and then I purchased two digimon figures on Ebay and sent *both* to the
wrong address. I am going to bed and pulling the covers over my head to
ponder when exactly it was that my brains went bye-bye.

You know you've been watching/reading too much Forever Knight when
you're watching the seriespremiere of Enterprise, and one character
calls another character "speciest," and you briefly wonder why there
are no llamas around.

Actually I noticed in the first paragraph that Nick had died in this story, so I
decided not to read it. I still love FK and its characters, but I'm not
finally reading an Angel/FK crossover without Nick and Angel meeting.

Well...um...not trying to give anything away, but I just finished reading
this EXCELLENT story, and Nick and Angel kinda do meet. I think the writer
did an very good job in presenting all of the characters, including LaCroix,
and the story is very compelling. It is a post-LK story, and it does deal
with LaCroix' grief at Nick's passing, but for those who can appreciate
stories with those elements, I definitely recommend it!

Don't know about a source for Ribena, but black currant jelly, and canned
black currants, can be purchased at East European markets. In Phoenix, for
example, there's a Polish-run deli/market/butcher shop on the corner of
Greenway and 32nd St. (unless they've closed in the last two years).
