I added a bunch of fics to the archive!

I'm still looking for fics to archive, so if you have any, I'll gladly accept
them, no matter what the category (adult, slash, crossover, etc...) Thanks
authors for trusting me with your prized works! :)

Subject: New places to ask for Forever Knight tapes and trading cards

Amazon.com sent an email asking what's playing on your VCR and give
vhs-comments@a....... as the address to send the answer to. Of course I
told them FK, and that I'm soon going to wear out my tapes.

inkworkscards.com is the website for the trading card company Inkworks and
they asked what shows we'd like to see cards made of, and of course I emailed
them saying Forever Knight. I got an email back thanking me for the
suggestion. I know it's probably a form letter but at least it's on record.
Inkworks does Buffy, Angel, Charmed, X-Files seasons 4&5 (6&7 will be out
later this year) and a bunch more series.

I haven't emailed scifihobby.com yet. They're doing a First Wave set. It's
limited to 750 sets. Among their other sets are Twilight Zone, Xena,
Stargate, Hercules, Farscape....

Subject: Trying to find an FK fan

Hi,
I have been trying to contact Kylie (Knightraven) on ICQ and e-mail for the
last week and haven't been able to contact her. Unfortunately the only
e-mail addie I have is the one she had when she was in NZ and I don't know
if she has a new addie or what. Can anyone help?

There's so many people that I know I'm going to leave someone else, but besides
Susan's I like BOTH Bonnies (Bonnie Rutledge and Bonnie Pardoe). This isn't to
berate anyone else because there's many VERY good stories. I haven't been able
to keep up with my reading lately, though.

I do have to admit the fic I'm most likely to re-read is my own! That isn't an
ego trip by any means, but I think every fanfic writer writes the stories he or
she would like to read. Plus, after a while, the story has "left" my memory so
it is like reading something someone else wrote. I've even had people point out
stories I've written I'd totally forgotten about!

Well,

I haven't spoken to Knightraven in months, but from what I was told by her
SO, she's not doing so well and has withdrawn from most everyone. So maybe
a good thought or 2 should be sent her way. She is still at

Gosh, just what I was wondering! I know we've all been affected by the
terrible attacks of last week, but we need some relief. Anybody got some
rampant silliness to share, or an interest nitpicky discussion to start?
Please?

BTW, my computer (who is also named Portia, interestingly) is in the
hospital and won't be home until Monday or Tuesday. Lucky me, to have a
boyfriend who just hands over his keys when he leaves for work and says,
"Use mine." The downside, though, is that I have the next (final?)
installment of the 'Breaking Day' series well along and won't be able to
complete it until Portia (the computer) comes back. :( Sorry!

I have SO many favorites, it is hard to pick. We have such a talented
group here.
I'd have to say that my all time faves so far, though, are 'Somehow' and
'Somewhere' by Dorothy Elggren.
I'd love to see another in that series!

I love many of the authors on here, but my absolute favorite is
Kylie/Knightraven. I had decided to kick my butt into gear and finish
my masters after a 4 year lapse when I started reading her stories. I
used to use them as my rewards. I would collect all the parts then let
myself read one after I'd finished a project or paper. Long Live

I'm right with you there, on LOVING Kylie's stuff -- especially her "Nicky"
series. She is just so good at TELLING a story; she really gets you right into
what is happening, and makes you see what is going on around and in the
characters. She is a master storyteller!

And, boy, do I miss my ole buddy. :o(

My other favorite writers are Nancy K and her cronies ("g"), Dorothy Elgren (did
I leave out an "l" or something, there?), Pat Elmore,... um...and some others
that my rusty old brain can't think up right now. One of my favorite stories is
"Deja Vu" by Nancy Kaminski -- I think this was one of my early favorites, from
when I first started reading through Mel's archive. But I have many other
favorites.

PS. I don't know how many responses to the "Dawn to Dusk" challenge I've read,
but I never could figure out WHAT the challenge was. Guess I'm just a little
too dim -- anyone wanna give me the run down on that one?

This series covers just about every character or faction preference
any FK fan might have.

Be forewarned the series is highly addictive.

You leave us all gasping for the next one - and we wait, and we wait -
and now we know it's coming, and it's almost here, and we *still* have
to wait! You've been taking lessons from Uncle, haven't you?
