This is true. When I heard it, I was almost in tears (I'm
born and raised in Iran.) For more than 20 years, the
government forced the people to hate USA and brainwashed
children into believing that all Americans were evil. Yet
after Tuesday's tragedy we started hearing these incredible
stories about young people lighting candles in squares in
Tehran and last Friday, a soccer match where a whole
stadium of people and the players took a minute of silence
in memory of the victims. It's also said that the slogan
"Down with USA" that used to be cried out in all the
gathering has disappeared forever.

You could be right Cloudrider. The tiniest positive outcome
could be that now, after so many years, Iranian people can
join the rest of the world in showing support and being
friends and brothers with Americans, and that's over 60
million friends. Not bad I'd say.

Thank you for the links BTW.

Sunny
