You know you've been reading too many FK war posts when...
I was in an airport (REALLY tired), saw a trash can with WM on the side
(waste management) and thought "Oh, War Mistress. So she has power here too
huh?" <G>

Created 3 new designs today- Cerk, SOS FK, and (from a fan's idea) a FK Fanatic
with the FK in an outline. They're up, along with the faction designs, at:

You know you've been reading too many FK war posts when:

I was getting my hair cut and there was a product on the shelf behind me
called CREM, which (as I was looking at it through the mirror) I read as
MERC. I immediately wondered if the stylist would accept payment in
chocolate... ;)

I like what you've done so far. I like the color coding idea, but wondered about
the color choices for the factions . I expected the Dark Perks to be in dark
pink text (it looks orange on my screen). The Knighties might be better in a
lighter blue or caddy green. Mercs work for profit so they might look good in
a green. Ravenettes might look good in red. How about a light brown for
Vaqs? A light gray or silver for Cousins? Gold (shiny pretties money) for the
RatPack?

On the 16th, shouldn't "Signs of Character, or...The Ruby Yacht of Omar
Khayyam" be a multi-factional post?

And why are some posts in rich text format?

Maybe deeppink or palevioletred? (I'm going by HTML colors, which
have to be typed all as one word). There is also hotpink and
magenta, but those more perky colors, I think. And magenta is more
purplish than pink.

>The Knighties might be better in a lighter blue or caddy green.

Hmmm...turquoise is kind of like the caddy color. Paleturquoise
might work too.

>Mercs work for profit so they might look good in a green.

There's forestgreen, but I don't think it would look the greatest on
a dark background. Green is also really dark. There are several
light green shades including limegreen, chartreuse, greenyellow,
springgreen and lawngreen.

>Ravenettes might look good in red.

There is also crimson (slightly deeper than red) and tomato (which is
more orangish than red).

>How about a light brown for Vaqs?

Linen might work, it's a pale brownish color. There is also peru,
more of a reddish brown though. Tan or wheat might work.

>A light gray or silver for Cousins?

Whitesmoke is a nice silver shade and is much lighter than the html
silver color.

>Gold (shiny pretties money) for the RatPack?

There is a gold html color. There's also goldenrod, palegoldenrod,
and khaki (which shows up more gold than tan on my computer).

There are also hexidecimal color pickers for getting the exact color
(like the caddy's shade), but text format is the easiest method.

Hi and goodbye Wolfy your name got my attention because my little old dog
used to be called that and I had a big place for him. I wondered where you
bobbed up from all of a sudden and what your history was. All becomes clear
now. TTFN. Sue.

Here's mine:
You know you've been thinking about FK too much when you draw up detailed
plans for a scale model of the Raven (complete with back room, cellar, CERK
booth, and upstairs apartment), then look around and realize there's just
nowhere you can put anything that big! Waaaaaaah!

Also, when you tell the folks on your miniatures list that you're looking
for miniatures of Roman artefacts...

So, it seems i m not the only one gone into models with FK. I found this
neat Caddie model, painted it totally against the indications in the package
but according to FK (as much as I could get that color right) and then,
because it was only *almost* identical to Nick s (i think i have the 58
model instead of the 61) proceedeed to cut a trunk into the model (according
to the indications, the trunk would not open - now it does...). Well, in
doing so, i managed to cut my finger and blood dropped on the now semi open
trunk. Just to see how FK can get too much for somebody, I thought - how
fitting, now he can get his dinner....

mind warped, Lucie
