Then it should be a patronymic:  her father's first name +evna or +ovna.
If her father's first name was Peter, her patronymic would be Petrovna.

Natasha is a 'pet' or diminuitive name for Natalya (like, say, Terri for
Teresa).  Natalie is the Anglicized version.  Lambert can be either French
or English.  So...assuming she's half French and half Russian, you could use
either a French or Russian middle name.

Common Russian-American girls' names include:
Vera
Julia
Ana
Olga
Katherine (Anglo version of Ekaterina)
Tatiana (from which we get Tanya; but the Orthodox church will not allow you
to baptize anyone with a nickname--this I know from experience :) )
Helen
Mary (both the same in Russian as in English)

It was fun, but difficult to get colors that were different from each other
and that I could see (eye problems. can't see black on white good). I'm
working on your suggestions, changing the multifaction and DP colors to
lighter, and the reason I crossed out those parts of the days was because I
don't think there's going to be any posts there (war started noon on the
first day, and most factions were done by afternoon the last day) And, for
your personal enjoyment Cousin, I added the Cousins' posts to the war pages.
That makes... DPs, FoDS, Knighties, and now Cousins. Hooray for weekends and
Excedrin! (eyestrain)

We know that her grandmother was Russian but Lambert isn't a
Russian name. It can be English (including any or the
Engish-speaking countries including Ireland), French, German, or
Dutch.  She mentioned in the episode with Liam the Hunter that
she had relatives in Ireland. Come to think of it, we don't know
to which side the Russian grandfather belongs. Even if that was
her mother's mother, it doesn't necessarily follow that her
mother's father was Russian.  I'd say pick something you think
suits her as a middle name and use that.

   Actually, I've been thinking that it could have been Welsh,
although that would probably mean that it had once been spelled
"Llambert".

  KickStart The Knight will be sending Bonnie Hammer at the Sci-fi Channel a
 very nice gift wrapped Bamboo Plant  on the fans behalf and would love to
include tons and tons of Emails to go with it asking that FK be restored to
the line-up this fall...
 Since the letter count has gone down to a pitiful level, we need to let

But her father wasn't Russian, so I don't know if her family followed the
traditional practice.  My mother had a patronymic for her middle name
(Kuzmaevna, which she dropped as an adult because no one could spell or
pronounce it), but I have a standard American middle name (and a really
unimaginative one, too).

I had a friend once that was named Natalie Michelle. So I think Natalie
Michelle Lambert would make a good sounding name (especially if it was

it, and at first you mistake the castle's name for Lambert and think,

Call me non modern but either keep your last name or change it... I hate
hyphanted names....
It is so ridiculous and demeaning to both sides...  I want to shake them and

I'm trying to find a fic I found parts to- it's where Nat is brought across as
an enforcer, seduces LaCroix, finds out that Aristotle isn't as old and ugly as
he appears normally, and has to deal with vampires going crazy after drinking
blood from a new supplier. Anyone know who wrote it or where I can get it?
