      Does anyone know a current email address for Russet McMillan, author
of the excellent FK fanfiction "BloodThirst," formerly at
mcmillan@a.......?  I'd like to contact her about her story.

      (If anyone's interested, it's on Stephanie's FTP site under
"Miscellaneous" ftp://ftp.win.net/winnet/fkvoyage/fkfanfic/ and also in
Mel's web archive.)

      And -- it's been a while since I asked, and I found no leads myself
-- has anyone ever found an active address for Karen Tobin, in order to ask
her about the disposition of the "Forever Knighties" page she used to keep
at http://members.aol.com/knighties/?  If it's truly been removed and won't
be coming back, I'd like to post the "Knightie Creed" and "Occupations
List" to my own site or see them up on someone else's -- those are just too
valuable and fun to lose from the fandom.  Especially the creed, you
know.  "Truth, justice, the Canadian way, shots of Ger without his shirt
(well, the women, anyway), cool caddies with the tops down (any color), and
_life_ -- not immortality!" :-)

      Please direct/copy any responses to me off-list; I'm currently
no-mail on forkni-l.

I have taken over the Knighties site from Karen.

The site would have been updated ages ago; however, college and the war
have posponded a few things.

Subject: FK Music Videos

I finally managed to get my 3 music videos up on the web; I zipped them up
and made them pretty small (about 20 minutes uploading time for me, and I've
got a 56k connection) without losing too much of the picture quality. They
should play on any Windows Media Player or compatible system (a friend of
mine test downloaded for me and the video worked for her). Check them out at

Hey, I hope Eve won't be angry with me for jumping in and offer my humble
computer science solution.

Ok, don't click on them, that is, don't left click on them. Instead, do a
right click and from the menu that shows up, select 'save target as'. This
gives you a choice of where on your computer you would like to save the
videos. When you pick a destination and click save, they'll download to
your computer and bingo. BTW, they are zipped, so make sure you have
winzip to unzip and enjoy them.

The videos are great Eve, nice work! And the download was very fast. They
are really small too which is amazing ( the last music video I created was
45 MBs, yikes!)

The CotK are packing and preparing to leave the Comfy Cottage as War XI
has concluded.

Meanwhile, Desiree is in the kitchen preparing a surprise.

<"Now lets see....  the table is set...  China, silverware, crystal,
linen, flowers.  Is everything on the table...  Fresh fruit, juice, french
toast, syrup, coffee.     Ohh, can't forget the Champagne and Sparking
Cider.">  Desiree thought to herself.

As LaCountess was walking by the dinning room she noticed the Brunch being
set up.  "Desiree what is this?"

"You'll see...  Would you call everyone, It's ready."

As everyone entered the dinning room Desiree handed each of them a flute
or their choice.

"Good morning everyone.  As this is our last day together I wanted to say
thank you and good-bye to everyone as we are all departing today. "
Raising her flute, Desiree said, "To the Cotk and War XI...  most of us
entered as newbies and we leave a little wiser to the ways of war."

As the toast was complete all drained the contents of their flutes.

For the next two hours they eat, talked, and made plans for what might be.

Diane, Nicole, Jenieve and Andrea cleared the table.

Not at all, in fact, that's what I said to do in my little introductory
notes. :)

Thanks, Sunny! The higher-quality versions are about 12 megs each, but
YahooGeocities only lets me upload 5 MB at a shot. Ah, well, such is life.
