: Ben just finished filming an episode of the Fox show "The Lone Gunmen."
: Episode name and possible air date to follow.

I *THOUGHT* that was him! The episode aired last Friday here in Atlantic
Canada. Here is a synopsis:

If you're talking about the most recent ep with the Senator (who was
mysteriously like Bill Clinton) that wasn't the ep he's in. I think
you're confusing him with the Senator's aide (dark hair, glasses). Ben's
ep just finished filming within the past 2 weeks so I doubt we'll see it
air for several more eps.

Just had to put in a plug for Marg, her Tapes are awesome!
Wonderfully done, very professional and she's a great person to work with to

Sorry, just had to give praise where it is due, I've made it part of my

Also on the LaCroix thing?

No, you're not the only one. I was getting the same
blank page with the Angelfire logo. It seems that the
problem may lie in Netscape -- when I tried pasting
the link into Internet Explorer, I had no trouble
seeing the picture, which, BTW, really is an
incredible drawing!

Actor Nigel Bennett also played Lucien LaCroix on
the popular -Forever Knight-, so this chat event has a

Thanks for moving it. Now I can see it, too! (I was getting the blank
page.)

This is a very youthful-looking Nick -- he looks almost like Mike Rivers
(the character that GWD played in the USA-Network-produced version of
Airwolf, which aired a few years before FK and was my first exposure to him,
so to speak).

Keep up the cool drawings!

<< If you want to get really in-depth while off-line, Taber's Cyclopedic
Medical Dictionary has been invaluable to me so far, it has handy things
like symptoms of different poisons, etc. >>

Another very help book is a copy of the PDR (Physicians Drug Reference) as it
lists every drug made (by pharmaceutical companies) and more info about it
than you ever want to know. And it has pictures of all the drugs up front, in
color, and you can search the book by type of drug, by what it's used for and
a bunch of other stuff. It's a really cool book. My dad is a toxicologist and
he gets a new one every year, so a couple years ago he offered me one and I
took it. I've been getting the old one ever since. It's about as thick as two
yellow pages stacked on top of each other.

The Writer's Digest book series has a bunch of very useful books for writing
crime stories. Some titles in their "Writer's Guide to" I have are - Deadly
Doses (about poisons), Cause of Death (death, murder & forensic medicine),
Private Eyes (about PI work), Police Procedural (what they are and how they
work), Scene of the Crime (crime scene investigations).

They also have another very useful book called "The Writer's Complete Crime
Reference Book" and in it it has every type of possible crime, weapon, way to
harm someone, and a lot more good stuff. I believe it covers more branches of
law enforcement than just police.

They also have a great name book, Character-Naming Sourcebook, which not only
gives you names by male or female, but it does it by nationality - Greek,
Welsh, Latin, Celtic.... etc. It also gives you a bit of info about how names
were chosen. It does give some surnames so you can see what sort of name
they'd have and where it came from. It also gives a definition of the name
(pretty much like baby books do).

And now on to the second subject....

Thanks for the link!

I love the name! Does she know the rat's name? If so, what did she think of
it?

Nice picture. So, what does the tag on the bag say? The rat does look
realistic.

I love your line "this page maintained by someone who does not suck rats".

As far as I know, she does not know what I named the rat as I haven't seen
her since BtK. I don't recall coming up with the name until after the
convention/auction.

It is the actual police bag and has the tag used for police evidence in the
show:

Crime Scene Search
Evidence Report
Name of subject
Offense
Date of incident, Time, AM/PM
Search Officer
Evidence Description
Location
CHAIN OF POSSESSION
Received from
by
Date, Time, AM/PM
(the chain of possession info is repeated two more times)

I think it is an actual evidence tag purchased for the show.

Since the webpage picture was taken, Greg's autographed the tag "This is the
rat wot done me in!!!"

(He's allowed to play with the rat under my supervision. hahahah)

Not my line ;-) I don't maintain the pages, but I've always loved that line
too! hahaha.

Unfortunately, except in other fandom circles, I can't seem to find other people

three out of four of my classes this semester, and he hadn't ever heard of it.
But he had heard of Dark Shadows.

Yes, according to Black Buddah, Schanke was an offical *customer* for Nat
Those of us who paid veeeery close and imaginative attention, however, know
that Schanke and Cohen actually ran off together to Vegas (due to some sort
of delusional gas that was given them by some evil ex-con who had it in for
both of them which is the only way they would have left their families) and
if the show had stayed on another season, they would have recovered and
*returned*!
Also, the *real* Screed is in in a dark corner of a darkened hall in a
Windsor casino playing Bingo 24 hours a day. Across the river here in
Detroit, we have long been aware of a strange presence, a vibration in the
sewer force if you will, emanating from Windsor. Recently, an alert local
identified the emanation as Screed's inimitable vibration.
I hope everyone feels better, now.

I think he may be back in Toronto. I saw a news service report that someone
is suing a Toronto McDonald's as there was a ...

...rat's head complete with eyes in a McDonald's hamburger *in Toronto*

I kid you not.

I think Screed's alive, uhr - undead, and well and working at a Toronto

Or at least he was until they figure out who the cook was that night!
