Nick did have a cold burger in his frying pan. Who among us would it a stone
cold burger, with all the congealed fat sitting on it all white and icky? I
can't blame him for not eating it. Cold fat is gross tasting and very hard to
get out of your mouth.

Maybe if it hadn't been left over from the night before, maybe he would've
eaten it. Or at least given it a serious attempt.

<< I honestly don't think Angel is supposed to be a take-off of Nick Knight.
One thing that separates them (and that has made this show incrediably
intriguing) is that Angel's biggest fight isn't against his vampiric nature,
but against his innate *human* nature. More than once the point is made to
Angel that not only was he a monstrously cruel example of a vampire, he was
also a pretty sorry excuse for a human being. >>

And there is the vampire makeup. And two of the vampire differences that
immediately come to mind - Buffyverse vampires can't fly or whammy. If I
couldn't do either of those, I'd never become a vampire. And I'm not sure if
the Buffyverse ones are as strong as the FK ones.

The mortal and vampire personalities of Angel and Nick are quite different.
Angel was more like Lacroix as a mortal and as a vampire. Angel's name isn't
even Angel. It's Liam.

A guy from the phone company came to fix my parents DSL lines and while he
was waiting for his office to call back he was looking around at our
autographs. He was a HUGE Star Wars fan. When he saw the autographed picture
of Ger I have up on my wall he recognized the guy and even said that he
should join the fan club. He and his wife are FK addicts. I didn't have time
to give him all the addresses but did slip him the one for the gwdfc, and
told him to do a web search for FK.

You never know when you're going to run into a fan.

I've had a FK novel with me a couple times at places like dentist, doctor and
the ladies who work there think Ger's cute.

This would be one of those times I need to ask a question. *grin* Is there
some significance to "klew" I'm missing, or is it just net-speak?

If they're still looking for someone to do it, I'll do it.

I never heard of the request and would've offered to do it, if I had.

sitting here with half a manuscript, a bunch of photos and permissions,
and nothing else. I did ask several folks if they knew of anyone else who
wanted to do a similar project. No takers. " >>

Actually, what Pat McGrew wrote simply isn't true. The authors haven't
disappeared, in fact haven't gone anywhere at all. Last I heard they were
having problems getting Pat to get in touch with them. If you'd like to get
in touch with the authors, you can write to Lisa at Sukhmet@a........

Hi everyone!

Can I ask a quick question?

How does one go about finding out where and when there are conventions and the
like for FK etc.
Also What's involved with going to something like that?

(Yikes! I know I said 1 question, but it's kind of a 2-parter! *G* What an I say
it's Monday! *G*)

Many Thanks!

Umm, uhh, will I get offers too? I know I said I wouldn't join but that
was a lie (honestly I'm a good fighter, I just faced the great general in
the miniwar we're playing on Scifi board). please, please consider me too.

Oh, and Eve. Hi by the way, and welcome to the list although I myself am
nothing more than a mere fledgling here.
