In Love You To Death, LaCroix mentions that Nick's "code of
the last three centuries" has been to kill criminals, the impure,
etc. Since, by the outfits folks are wearing, this flashback
appears to be towards the end of the 1800's, this would mean that Nicky
has been more picky in his eating habits since the late 1500's.

Is it just me, by the way, or does anyone else get a kick out
of the way LC says 'hoo-uhr' in this flashback?
"In reality, she's a common hoo-uhr."  :-)

Now, I DO know that the 'Heights' discussion/thread has included questions
about LC and Nick, and CD has also been mentioned, and ...{{{shudder}}}...
this may even have spawned a NEW War-Time Faction (!!!)...

...but, can anyone tell me how tall Janette/Deborah Duchene and Urs/Kristen
Lehman are? Initially, I kinda thought that Janette and Urs were both
'petite', but then, either seeing DD and KL on other programs and/or reading
discriptions of Janette and Urs in FK FAQ stuff, I've gotten the impression
that they ALL may have been sorta tall.
...I KNOW that Janette would wear high heels... but generally she was
standing with rather tall male vamps -- LC, Nick, and Miklos... just
wondering... Thanks!

They either levitate or stand on an empty bloodwine crate to get up to eye
level. Janette's empty bloodwine crate was done in Givenchy last year; I
think she's asked Karl Lagerfeld to do this year's crate. Nick collects
them all for his upcoming book on "Wine Crates of Toronto"...

Am I the only one getting Rose's messages in very strange format? Ex.

:: <P>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
:: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
:: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;
:: &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; AAAHHHHH,
:: sorry! sorry!&nbsp; That wasn't supposed to go to the list!&nbsp;
:: (BAD ROSE!&nbsp; BAD!)&nbsp; Apologies all around!</P>

They're coming out full of HTML. Is it only me that this is happening too?

Thankyou,
Alexandria.

No, it happened to me too. The list doesn't seem to like HTML messages.
Luckily I can read HTML code or I wouldn't have been able to decipher it! Er,
I don't use Hotmail, but I would guess that there is a switch for HTML to text
somewhere in their user options/preferences section, whatever they call it.
Try sending only text messages.

I had the same problem with both Rose and Kyer's last messages. It is
because they are probably using one of outlook's funky decorations that
web-based accounts like Yahoo don't support.

I solved the problem by copy/pasting the email in notepad and saving it as
.html and then opening it with explorer. Which revealed to me that Kyer's
message had a beautiful baby blue background.

Yes, but it's not in a TV ep; it's in _These Our Revels_ by Anne
Hathaway-Nayne, which is one of the three official tie-in novels. It was in
England in the 1500's, when Nick was hanging around with that cool
Shakespeare guy.

Listserv <tm> software can't handle anything but plain
text. HTML -- which includes stationery or enriched
text -- should never be sent to the list if the poster
can avoid it.
