Got a question -- I know that a person can last much longer w/out food than with
water (only 3 or 4 days w/out water, at the max, before death, right?), so
wouldn't the thirst torment the person much more than hunger? Would you even
notice the hunger very much by the third day? I know I fasted once for almost a
week (about 5 days), but drank plenty of juice, water and milk(which is almost a
food)and was pretty okay -- not especially weak or uncomfortable, though I
noticed that, when sitting at the table with people to talk with them, I tended
to watch their fork going from plate to mouth (though I tried to stop myself
when I noticed)pretty intensely and I noticed phantom food smells (food smells
when I *knew* there was no food around) a few times. I thought these
"side-affects" were pretty cool -- funny how the body works to get you to do
what it thinks you need.

Hey, ya'll, there is not much time left to enter the Ravenawards! So far, I am
the only person entered in the Adultus Novus category (category for people who
have never written/posted an Adult story). I hereby throw down the challenge
for someone else to enter a story in this category and try to beat me --
BWAHAHAhahahaha! (Pretty please? I so don't want to be alone -- sniffle.) "g"

And if that doesn't work: Nyah nyah nyah nyah! You can't beat meeee! I write
better than you doooo!

And if *that* doesn't work: Guess what -- it's a UF piece! Come on you
N&Npackers and Ratpackers and Valentines and whatever you call the V/T's and
Lonely Hearts and and the Les Mis and the Schanke/Slouvaki faction, etc. You're
not gonna let a UFfer (gasp!) win without a fight, are ya??

I agree. ofr that very reason I beleive it over shadows the hunger, bacasue
it is a more vital system requirement than food at that stage.<g>
Perhaps similar symptoms can be used for blood-hunger?<g> "Is that a waif I
can smell?"<eg>

Donald G. Schanke

Schanke is married, settled down. And he seems to be
incredibly happy that way, doesn't he? Now he just has
to make everyone else as happy as he is in their own
wedded bliss, not realizing that everyone else isn't suited
for marriage.
I think Schanke has a Cancer sun/ascendant. He loves to
eat, he enjoys his home life, and his looks say Cancer.
He has a large, round head, soft eyes, a firm
nose, and a pot belly since he is over 35. Although he is a
large man, and probably very muscular underneath, he gives
the appearance of softness. A big teddy bear, the kind you
want to cuddle up with.
Don loves to mother everyone else, but as is often the
case with male Cancers it is hidden behind a macho tough-guy
facade. One of the few ways that he can express his 'mother
hen' is by conspiring with Myra to hook up the two most
single people in his life. Namely, Nick and Nat.
Don is one of the rare 'open' Cancers. Which leads me
to believe that his moon is in a fire sign such as Sagittarius.
Sags love to talk, mostly because they have a good deal
of knowledge built up in their heads. They observe everything
and everyone, not necessarily telling anyone this though.
More than likely, they will keep it to themselves. But
THEY know, and that is all that matters. Sag moons are very
open emotionally, loving to give and receive hugs and pats
on the back. They usually get a little cocky though if
given too much praise. Remember the TV show incident?
Don has a bit of an ego, only rearing its head occasionally.
Since television is a form of communication, I am going
to go with a Leo mercury. He wants to be petted, loved on,
but most of all it has to be HIS way. 'Where is my coffee?
I want another doughnut. Where is the assistant with my
souvlaki?' Can you see how bad of a 'Prima Don' he would have been
had he REALLY hit it big?
All in all, Don is a good guy. The most human human of the entire
bunch. Not a superbly complex character until you look under
the surface, just like the rest of us.

My religion asks that we fast for 24 hours once a month. The food plauges
you, the smells drive you up a wall, but when the 24 hours are up, I go
straight to a large glass of water. It's the best.

Subject: Solution for Movies on Xoom/NBCi??

Movies are becoming a major problem for getting on the internet,
particularly Xoom. I did try the idea of changing the file extension. I
changed all of them to .fkm files. It takes me two days to get them all up
with out any problems or error messages saying to try to upload later. No
sooner than I have them all up the site's already gone. Two days before that
I had them uploaded as .mpgs and they all disappear in about the same time.
So, the file changing idea did not work and I really doubt changing them
.txt or some other familiar type would work either. The files would look
abnormally big.

So, I really need some help here. I have far too many movies, and soon to
come movies, to put on multiple accounts at driveway or freedrive storages
(I only use them for my bigger movies over 11 megs). Does any one know a
place (besides xoom and crosswinds), such as a shared storage, that offers
lots of space, at least 100 megs an account free? I really need to find a
"permanent" place for these movies, because I don't have the time to waste
re-uploading over and over again and I really want to share them with you
all.

Thank you for your help,
Kristin
