I hate to admit this, but except that it was first season, I'm blocking on
it, too. And my war time persona claims to be Larry Merlin's, sister. He was
the hacker who fixed the problem.

Anyone else out there have better memory access than I do right now? :)

It's the episode "Hunters", where Schanke is forced to hide out at the Raven
after being targeted. Nick asks the records officer for information about
Schanke's past. She looks up Nick's badge number, revealing that there is no
record of him beyond name and badge number.

Was this knowledge gained via his police i.d.?
Because I just saw him flash his badge in one of the episodes I viewed for a
fic.
It was either in Queen of Harps or Near Death.

As for whether I have good memory access or not....I can never recall.

Hey, there was that friend of Valerie Meachum Kessler's who described Nick's
coming across as "a really bad beer decision!" Maybe that was a New Year's
Eve bash at the beginning of Dance By the Light of the Moon. Too bad 1228 is
several centuries too early for champagne, which suits Janette and New
Year's so well. :)

Did Schanke ever say how old Jenny was?
I'm trying to figure out how old she would be in 2001.
And are there any good information sites on the Goth culture? Slang, dress,
ect.?

This request was sent from my web site and
I'm hoping that someone on ForKni-L can
help Tim out.

If I remember right there is at least one, possibly
two people, who live in Germany and can dub
this episode for him.

Please send your response to
Tim Wolff wolff-dvag@t.......
and not to me or the list.

THANK YOU

Subject: "Crystal Necklace" now available on the Dubois Chronicles site

Hi Everyone:

I wanted to let everyone know that the "Crystal Necklace" (the prequel to
"Trouble in Toronto") is now available on my story site.
(http://Dante_6.tripod.com/stories/dubois.html). Although, it's not a FK
story, it does give details about the characters themselves....so do feel
free to stop by and look at the "CN" and the other stories!

Thanks everyone for listening and to McLisa for the permission to post this
message! :)

Sincerely,

David

Subject: Fwd: Ben ALERT - Friday 1-5 !!!

Greetings, ya'll!

This is to inform you that BEN BASS will be
in one of the StarGate SG-1 eps that will be on
ShowTime THIS Friday night -- January 5th. [My thanks
to the other devoted BBFC and VaqDreams Ben Bass Fans
who verified this for me! :) ] -- I hope this is
enough of a warning that you can be ready and have
your VCR's set-up or [if you, like I, do NOT have
ShowTime, maybe you can ask some very kind person who
does have ShowTime to tape it for you] --
-- This is a repeat of the CURRENT Stargate SG-1
season's ep "The Curse" that The AWESOME,
Devastatingly HANDSOME, and Extremely TALENTED Mr. Ben
Bass appeared in, and it first aired, I believe, in
Sept. 2000.
-- According to ShowTime's 'Stargate SG-1' page, it
APPEARS that tomorrow night, FRIDAY 1-5, ShowTime will
show TWO Stargate SG-1 eps -- one at about 10:00 pm to
10:45, followed by a second ep at 10:45 to 11:35 -- it
SEEMS that Ben's ep is the second ep at 10:45-- {{{but
I'd be ready at 10:00 just in case!!!}}}

--this may be of some help to interested fans--
Now, I don't have any ShowTime Cable channels so I
don't know what the difference is, but I do have
Digital Cable and the guide lists ShowTime EAST
showing 2 Stargate eps for FRIDAY night-- at about 10
PM and 10:45 PM, and the ShowTime WEST as EARLY
SATURDAY morning-- 1:05 AM to 1:45 AM and 1:45 AM to
2:35 AM -- and, from the description it gives, seems
that #2 ep is "The Curse".

{{{...you see, since The AWESOME One was in one of the
current/new eps of Stargate SG-1 [which ONLY air on
ShowTime] and Teri was so very, very, very kind to
have taped it for me {{{my sincerest and everlasting
THANKS, Teri!!!}}} so I got to see and tremendously
enjoy every single second of watching and listening
to The Extraordinarily Talented and Devastatingly
Handsome Ben Bass... I also got the chance to see my
VERY first ep of Stargate SG-1 and really enjoyed it!
Since seeing the tape of Ben's ep, I've begun to watch
this GREAT, intelligent ang interesting series --
locally, in the Philadelphia, PA area, on non-cable
FOX channel, they show some eps -- but not the
current/newest season {right now some 1999 season)
StarGate eps, and recently both USA and SciFi aired
the original StarGate movie. So, in case anyone is
also interested in seeing more of the series, you may
be able to, even if you do not get ShowTime!}}}

If any of you have not had the opportunity to see Ben
Bass in StarGate SG-1 -- I HIGHLY recommend that
#1 -- ASAP go to the BBFC web site, go to "Ben's Bio",
and from there check out the absolutely AWESOME (((as
usual!))) pics of Ben in the StarGate SG-1, and then
#2 -- watch AND tape -- or ASAP find some kind,
understanding, sympathetic person who has ShowTime to
tape it for you --
In this ep "The Curse" -- verrrrry interrrresting
character Ben portrays --- and ya GOTTA watch the
WHOLE show -- he's in it from beginning to end and
DON'T miss the end!!!

-- And even if you are not a fan of Science fiction,
nor have any idea whatsoever what this series is about,
I think, like me, you won't have any trouble following
the story in this ep -- it's WELL worth watching if
only to see The AWESOME Ben anyway!!! :) :) :) And,
of course, even if you already saw it the first time,
by all means, I'm sure you'll want to see it again! :)

...So, I hope ya'll get to see and enjoy watching and
hearing Ben -- as usual, besides looking sooooo
verrrry good, he does a marvelous job!!!
