Hiya gang!

With McLisa's permission:

As you can probably tell by this e-mail, I am having html formatting
problems. Does anyone using AOL know how to shut off the html formatting
that comes standard with the 6.0 upgrade?

Please let me know offlist!

Toodles,

Subject: INCA Sightings

Greetings!

The following is in regards to Damon D'Oliveira, a.k.a. the actor who played
Javier Vachon's vampire brother The Inca.

#1) Damon D'Oliveira had played a regular, supporting character in a
ShowTime cable sci-fi/triller series "Total Recall 2070" in 1998/9 which was
on just for 1 year/season and was canceled. The star of this series was
Michael Easton, and his character's wife was played by Cindy Preston who was
in FK in an ep in season 1 -- I think in "Dance by the Light of the Moon".
Damon's character was "Detective Moralez". However, from info I read on the
internet, it may presently air on some INDEPENDENT stations. Now, I do not
have ShowTime, and the info I found was via the Internet, but I WAS able to
recently buy the FIRST ep on DVD at a local [Best Buy] store: "Total Recall
2070: Machine Dreams" and you can also purchase it on DVD and VHS (video
tape) at Amazon.com. There are brief some appearances of Damon in it
{{{which made it worthwhile for me personally to have spent the money to buy
it! :) }}} -- particularly about 45 - 50 or so minutes into this ep in which
he's there for a little longer than usual and has this WONDERFUL
expression/smile on his face that IMHVaqO definitely resembles that of his
FK bro Javier Vachon. [Warning: in the beginning there are 2 VERY explicite
sex scenes which include nudity -- surprisingly the second scene is between
2 characters who are married to each other -- a rare occurance on television
and cable indeed! -- And just so ya'll don't get disappointed -- Damon
D'Oliveira is NOT in either of these X-Rated scenes.] However, Damon does
look VERY handsome in this show and I'm glad I have it! :)

#2) In last year's Season 1 of the "Relic Hunter" tv series on WB [the same
station that carries "Buffy" & "Angel"], the very 1st ep "Buddha's Bowl" had
Damon D'Oliveira as Siddhartha [a.k.a. Buddha] but it was kinda hard to
recognized him as his hair was VERY short. A few months ago, I happened to
turn on the "Relic Hunter" about 10 mintues after it had started and saw
someone who looked VERY much like Damon D'Oliveira -- he was playing someone
who MAY have been impersonating a Calcutta policeman -- I'm not sure it was
him, as he was not listed in the closing credits, but, it IS possible that
he was listed in the OPENING credits, as he was in the season 1 ep -- but it
looked a LOT like him -- [unlike in the #1 ep in season 1] with HAIR and
also with a goatee and mustache -- like in the "Total Recall 2070" series,
the #1 ep 'Machine Dreams' that I bought. So, I recommend that, IF you're
intertested in The Inca, then check your LOCAL listings for THIS week's "The
Relic Hunter" ep: "Dagger of Death" -- "After a meek anthropologist (guest
star Martin Doyle) murders his assistant and a cursed Indian dagger is
blamed, Sydney and Nigel (Tia Carrere, Christien Anholt) must find the
sheath to harness its power." In the Philadelphia, PA area, it will air
TONIGHT - SATURDAY 12-9, 11:00 pm EST on WPH 17 (WB). Try to watch or tape
it -- I apologize if I'm mistaken, but in case I'm right, I wouldn't want
anyone who's interested to miss it! :)

I am posting this to the list because I am sure others would like to know. Do
not upgrade to AOL 6.0. You CAN'T turn off html and AOL has said they are not
even sure they are going to fix it so you can.
The only option is to use the AOL Web-mail interface at http://aolmail.aol.com.
The Web-based system sends plain text.

Looking for decent pics of non-vamped out Alma
and that Scene That Did Not Happen at the end of Last Knight. The one with
the upraised leprechuan popsickle.
And messed-up looking Nick when LC visits during The Fix.
The flashback in Europe in Father's Day
And are there any scenes of Nick staring out at Lake Ontario?
Or any good archives with more than just mug shots.

Why? I want to illustrate parts of: Of Knight & Death: a Touched by an
Angel/FK fic.

Subject: Re: HELP! Posting using AOHell 6.0

I hope it's okay to reply to this on list too.... Rae is having the same
problem I had with AOL 6.0. Remember my begging posts for KtK? Same mess.
Anyway, I both emailed AOL customer service and did the 24 hour live customer
service chat thingy and they confirmed what I suspected...there is NO WAY to
turn off html in AOL 6.0 email. (Yes I did tell them how *incredibly stupid*
this is. <G>) They suggested that when writing things that could not contain
html, I should send the mail through the mail feature at the aol.com
website. To which I replied that if I *wanted* to use the web for email, I
would be using MS Outlook. I mean, DUH! I happen to prefer using AOL for
email (I know, I know, call me sick and twisted).

So here's the solution: Go back to AOL 5.0 like I did. It's a better
program anyway. You can't even access newsgroups quickly and easily in
6.0...that's another stupid change they made, taking away the pulldown menu
option for newsgroups.

Obligatory FK reference.... Which FK vamp or vamps would you send to visit
the programmers of AOL 6.0? Personally, I'm thinking The Barber. <G>

I am soooo glad that I decided not to upgrade to 6.0
AOL keeps getting more retarded by the moment I swear. I had heard about all
of the problems people had been having with it and so I didn't upgrade.
If I had my choice of FK people to send to the president or programmer
person, it would have to be Divia. She is just a major Bit$% with a capital
B. If she wasn't available I would send Oncle Lucien. Can you imagine how
pissed he would be if this happened to him? ooooooOOOOOOOOoooooooo Fanfic
warning...... be back later with that... Hehe

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight December

Hello everyone!

This is just a reminder for this month's blitz. New to the list or need to
see the info again? See below...

This entire month we are focusing on three powers that be, Tristar, Sci-fi,
and TNT!
A lot of FK fans have wondered why we don't approach other networks about
possibly reviving the series. Well, we will continue to include TNT, and of
course Sci-fi and Tristar.

E-mail: tnt@t.......
(and place in the subject line: "To The Attention Of The Vice-President of
Programming")

You also may call TNT's Viewer Comment and Question Line at (404) 885-4538,
however we ask that any phone calls be in addition to letters and e-mails.

For snail mail, send to:
Vice-President of Programming
TNT 1010 Techwood Drive, NW
Atlanta, GA 30318

Its going to be a big dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that would
love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make sure
everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off three e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!

Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!

For the "whole" month of November, we are asking everyone to blitz the
feedbacks!!! For the month, you can re-use the e-mails you did before, or
write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying, "Bring Back
Forever Knight."

Important info to add in your letters: During this current blitz, we could
ask that an upcoming "SCIography" ep feature FK! So far, they plan to do eps
on "Battlestar Galactica", "Quantum Leap" and "Sliders", so asking them if
they plan to do a "SCIography" ep about FK can't hurt.

Also, Sci-Fi is airing "Sci-Fi World", which is a 6 hour block of sci-fi
programs with a different theme each day. It's also possible to ask them if
FK will be a part of the "Sci-Fi World" programming block!

ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around again soon....
lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!

Sci-Fi's E-mail: feedback@w.......

Sony/Tristar Mail Form: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html

When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.

There's also a button, I made, which you can post on your websites to spread
the word about the blitzes. Have it link to my "save fk" page.

Long Live the Knight!

My thing is why use AOL at all. I have used Earthlink for many years with
no problems. Maybe try that (Not that 5.0 thing, it resembles AOL too much,
unless you are a sadist, jk). Either that or get yourself a free email
account somewhere that allows you to use.

Is he the one from Bad Blood? The Jack-the-Ripper guy? That would be good
for instant gratification, but I think Lacroix could do a more thorough,
long-term job. Why let them off the hook easily? :-) Or maybe Divia ...
