Subject: different network options

I was just thinking about the different network options, such as TNT, to
re-run FK episodes. I'm not sure if this network is national or not, but in
Florida we have UPN...which does alot of re-runs of shows that aren't on air
any longer.
It's a thought :)

There is also an online version of TVGuide, which also has the crossword
puzzle.... Added benefit...you can do it over and over and over again with
out having to erase pencil marks or buying a new copy....<G>

That's a bit scary... I lost a cousin to what they think was Mad Cow; she
was only 26. (No, we weren't close: I only saw her once, when she was an
infant.)

But that brings to mind an interesting question:

What do you think would happen (medically) to Nick if he ended up drinking
Mad Cow-infected cows' blood -- and for how long would it last? (Could it
be causing a sort of psychosis beyond that of not drinking human blood --
or a weakening of mental and physical abilities? Would his natural healing
processes be affected by that, and how? If it made him crazy, would he
remain crazy until someone gave him uninfected human blood -- or would the
disease process that and continue to develop?)

I have a half-formed vision of "Curiouser and Curiouser" and the 3rd-Season
downward spiral (especially "Last Knight") being hallucinations caused by
Nick's suffering from Creutzfeldt-Jakob/"Mad Cow" Disease...

From the way it appeared on-screen, Janette was the bait, and LC was the
hook. Nick fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

We also have UPN here in Minnesota. It's still showing Voyager, I believe.
UPN was showing Deep Space Nine, don't know if they are showing re-runs or
not. I think this is a national network, but I don't know if the folks in
Canada will be able to get it.

I don't think anything would happen -- we've seen that FK vampires rarely if
ever get sick from human diseases, and the only thing that made them sick was
a drug created in the lab.

But maybe, just maybe, it might make him briefly crazy enough to admit his
love for Nat. And hopefully he wouldn't retract the statement after he
recovered. <g>

OK so I'm a Nick and Natpacker at heart.

Maybe all our letters to TV Guide about fan support for FK got someone's
attention. Perhaps we should thank them for the crossword reference and
suggest they do a story on the show so that more people will understand the
reference.

Speaking as one of those insane parents who wanted to please their child by
taking them to the midnight sale (I'd reserved ny daughters copy a few days
earlier) I have to agree that LaCroix would have LOVED the bookstore I was
at! The bookstore that I went to had a very poorly planned idea of what a
party was supposed to be (scar tattoos and cheap glasses for the kids, but
nothing else that they had promised when I talked to them on the phone.) and
had so many of us depressed to be there waiting in an endless line for the
book. By the time I finally got to pay for my book I was so upset, because my
daughter and her friend were very let down by the experience, as were just
about every other person there that I'm sure LaCroix would have had a field
day sucking the tired blood out of all of us that night! I'm almost sure that
most of us would have welcomed the death about halfway through our time there!

Also, I had a YKYB when I was reading the third book to my daughter....
Chapter Three is titled 'The Knight Bus'. I was a little let down to discover
that Nick wasn't the one driving said bus! <G>
