VTM = Vampire The Masquerade

Sorry for the confusion.

Okay...what are you talking about?
I mean, my first thought was a cross between Virtual Reality and an ATM
machine.
What's a VTM?

I'm in the planning stages of a Vampire:the Masquerade/FK Xover, as a matter
of fact... along with a Poltergeist:the Legacy/FK Xover that I'm currently
working on... which brings up a question for all of you Torontonians out
there.

Is the public library system in T.O. the same as it is in the U.S. as far as
someone being able to work in a public library as a volunteer? I need to
know this in order to make sure that a part of the plot makes sense.

Many thanks in advance. :)

Subject: Coroners' motto

I spotted this, and thought fanfic writers might find it
interesting/helpful. The motto for the Ontario coroners is "We speak for
the dead to protect the living." It's displayed on a large sign somewhere
indoors near the chief coroner's office; I saw it quickly flash by on a TV
show (_Exhibit A_ on TLC) in which he was interviewed.

Just FYI.

Hi guys! I'm back. with a YKYMB . . .

While flying out of the airport in Lexington I saw a beanie camel.
Apparantly it's part of the ty 2000 line. It's got a fuzzy hump.
Being the loyal vaquera that I am, I had to get one. I named it tracy,
in honor of Vachon's favorite camel from the war.

It's now sitting in my livingroom next to my husband's stuffed duck.

There is a show called 'Hollywood Offramp' on the E! Entertainment channel
and I know that I saw Ben Bass in it.

The episode was the premiere of the show. It
aired June 4th and again on June 10th. Ben played Rufus Neil, a director.

That's cool to know. There's a motto for homicide detectives too, it's
rather widespread, but I don't know if they use it in Toronto. I've seen it
on T-shirts for Chicago and L.A. cops. It's:

"Homicide: Our day begins when your day ends."

The first time I heard it I laughed out loud...I've seen it on some items on
Ebay, too.

Subject: Blitzing for the Knight Day 7; Reminders

It's day 7 of the Feedback Blitz!! Go ahead and e-mail the two powers that
be below asking for what you desire in the Knight (you can also re-use your
letters for this 2 week blitz)...

1. Sci-fi: feedback@w.......

2. Tristar/Sony: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html

..................................................
Forget what the blitz is about? Read below:

It looks like these blitzes we have been doing are getting some attention!
So we at KtK, are going to turn them into a monthly routine. This month we
are focusing on the two main powers, Tristar and Sci-fi.

Its going to be a double dose of e-mails from each of you the fans that
would love to not only have FK back on Sci-fi's schedule, but want to make
sure everyone knows that we are want more FK with the original cast in new
episodes and or movies!! So, what do you say? Are you ready to sit down,
take that few minutes and send off two e-mails? It could make all the
difference in the world!

Remember, say a little or say a lot, but say it!! We can make more FK
happen!!!

June 12th, through June 24th, we are asking everyone to blitz both
feedbacks!!! For the two weeks, you can re-use the e-mails you did before,
or write new ones. They can be long, or as short as just saying, "Bring Back
Forever Knight."

ALSO REMEMBER!! Sci-fi will be changing its schedule around in June, and
again in the fall.... lets make sure that we get Forever Knight on!!!

Sci-Fi's E-mail: feedback@w.......

Sony/Tristar Mail Form: http://www.spe.sony.com/spe/help_feedback_index.html

When e-mailing TriStar,(especially) give as much personal info as you
can...rather than just an e-mail name. A bit more personal carries more
weight with TPTB.

I also made a button/banner for the upcoming blitzing, which you can use to
help spread the word, by putting this on your site (you can get off my save
fk page).

Subject: seeking fanfic authors Baxter, Welsh & Scarrit

I've been attempting to contact the following FK fanfic authors about their
outstanding stories periodically for some time, with no success. The
addresses I have bounce. Primarily, I'd like to let them know how
involving, insightful and intelligent I found their stories, but I'd also
like to ask their permission to recommend their pieces in the monthly
fanfic project on my FK site.

Gisele Marie Baxter, "The Price of Silence"
(on the FTP site:
<ftp://ftp.win.net/winnet/fkvoyage/fkfanfic/miscellaneous>, then scroll
down to <price_of_silence.gbaxter>)

Sarah Welsh, "Rarely-Beloved"
(on Mel's site: <http://www.fkfanfic.com/fanfic/r/rare1109.txt>)

Katherine Scarrit, "Serpent's Tooth"
(on Mel's site: <http://www.fkfanfic.com/fanfic/s/serp1429.txt>)

If you know an address for any of these excellent authors more recent than
that posted with her FK stories, would you please consider either
forwarding this post to her, or emailing me with the address
off-list? (I'm currently no-mail here on forkni-l; I'm only mail on fkfic-l.)

Thank you very much!
