Subject: Wav(s) Request
I'm making some FK desktop themes. I've already made
a 'N/LC' one and a 'Raven', now I want to do a Nick
one. Of course, I have tons of LaCroix wavs on my
hard drive <g>, but not enough Nick or Janette ones.
Any sites out there with N and J wavs that I could
download and use? (All the themes will be available
for download on my revamped websites.)

Yup, probably...it's hard to break 800-year-old
habits.
My take? I think Nick and Nat would try living
together (married or not), but that they would
gradually lose interest in each other, now that Nick's
no longer the tormented-soul and Natalie's no longer
the would-be-saviour. Also, I think Nick would be so
taken by new experiences and sensations that he would
probably gain a lot of weight and chase after every
attractive woman he encountered.

Well, it's always been my contention that LK was a
nightmare caused by undigested french fries...after
all, how could a digestive system that hasn't been
used in 800 years handle solid food?

Good point! I think he'd miss the invincibility, the
never-growing-old, the power, and probably a few other
things.
As far as the Enforcers coming after him, perhaps they
would--but LaCroix would intervene, as he has before.
I think LaCroix would drop in to mock Nick and try to
persuade him to come back across, but I don't think he
would ever *force* him--I don't think that would work.

In Oct of 98 Nigel Bennett and Elrod were to be at Nexus in Orland. Ms.
Elrod was there but Mr. Bennett was unalbe to make it. I went and was very
dissappointed he was absent.

Being such the pack rat that I am, ( I save all my email). I went back to the
posts from February of 1997 and found all the original posts to the story
"Something More Than This" by Bobbie Williams. It is now on the FTP site in its
entirety. ( There were about 4-5 paragraphs missing from what was there).

I just found "This Mortal Coil" by Leanne Lassiter in its entirety. It is now
also on the FTP site replacing the one that was incomplete.
If anyone notices any story that is incomplete on the FTP site please let me
know. The folders with the January 1999 dates on them are from the old ftp site
and were uploaded by the person that had the site previously. He uploaded them
and after I took over the site I never looked at them individually to see if
they were complete. I just took for granted they were complete. So there very
well may be more out there that are incomplete. So let me know and I will try
to find them if possible. I first got on the list in the fall of '96 so I am
hoping that anytime after that I would still have the original posts like I did
for "This Mortal Coil" and "Something More Than This" which were posted in
January and February 1997.

Would this be true or would Nick become even more horrified at what vampires
have done, do currently & will continue to do forever once he no longer has
to struggle against it? Or maybe, like some reformed "addicts" (as an
ex-smoker I know whereof I speak) would he become totally unsympathetic
toward unreformed vampires? Sort of "if I chose to become human why won't
everyone else"
Also, how many "friends" does Nick actually have in the community? Fan fic
gives him more than I think the scripts imply. Just because no one has
killed him for his rather...unusual beliefs, doesn't mean they're his
friends - by both his and their choice. Most of Nick's friends throughout
the centuries seem to have been mortal.

This morning, Rosemary Shad and Quinn (GWDFC officers), along with other
club members participated in the Children's Miracle Network telethon. This
year's on-screen presentation included a short video (3-4 mins) on the fan
club and its charity fund-raising. The video, filmed by the hospital
itself, combined clips of the club's delivery of books to the hospital (Jan
'00) and pictures of Ger and members taken at the last Weekend with Ger
with a voice-over interview. Manning the phones for the club were
Gail Zaccari & Heidi Sweigart (club officers), Ellen Byrne, Beth Brown,
Rachel Brown, Suzanne Dubhodar-Grider, and Carol Phillinger.
This year, the fourth on-air presentation for the club, Rosemary presented
a check for (are you sitting down?) $61,067.67 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A BOW!!!!!!!!
