It's the seventh video down. http://members.xoom.com/lfdodson/fkvideo1.html >> Nat's reaction is really Catherine's. The vamping out was a practical joke Ger played on her. I heard she got revenge, and it might be the couch scene in Capt. Nat's apt. in C&C. If you look closely he doesn't have the yellow eyes, just the fangs in the popcorn scene. Anyone else remember? >Arletta >Light Cousin Not exactly what you meant but in the first episode "Unforeseen Occurences" of Cousin Jules' wonderful Valentine-series Nick disappears a few month after regaining his mortality and not only his collegues, but Nathalie and LaCroix too think that may be he was killed by a rogue he has pursued as a cop. There is a fiction written in German by Nanette (Zahle den Preis), Nick regains his mortality in it, but it results in an incurable sickness. The only way it will climb is if we do the two things listed below... #1. IMPORTANT: Those of you who are not on High Levels please simply amswer your questions on the personal card about gender, birth, etc. It's very simple and does not take long and it REALLY helps your weight on the charts. If every one can get up to HIGH level, it can really help FK's position! If you have questions about this please feel free to ask me off-list. #2. NEW VOTERS: We REALLY need NEW voters who have never voted for FK before on the chart. Please, if you have not voted before click on the address below, and then click I'm a New User. Then follow the easy rules to sign up. We really need you! (and don't forget this chart is sent in to TPTB monthly with the petitions!) To vote for FK go here: http://www.global100.com/item.asp?Item=51259 Thank you for voting! :) Kristin ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 21 May 2000 14:48:34 EDT From: DanaKnight@a....... How would the second and third seasons been different? >> I think if LC had died, then Nick wouldn't have started backsliding. He would still be the happier vampire he was first season. He might've even gotten closer and closer to mortality. Janette did say that she could barely feel him. <<For all those Nat-haters out there, what if Roger Jamison had killed her? This is before Nick and Nat got real close, so what would Nick have done? >> I am a Natpacker. Here's what I think would've happened.... Nick would've really wanted to kill Roger for killing Nat. N&N were friends, and maybe more by the time of Roger. Nick hates when anyone messes with those he cares about, which is why I think he would've wanted to kill Roger, but something would stop him. Something inside, maybe Nat's voice. It would've been a very close call but Nick would've turned Roger over to the law. <<And, of course, there's all the times Schanke and Stonetree got shot. Any of those times could very well have been fatal. >> If Schanke or Stonetree had died, Nick would've felt their passing, but first season he wasn't really friends with Schanke yet so the grief would not be as deep. <<Has anyone ever played What If with Forever Knight?>> I do this a lot! What if Nick... What if Nat.... How would <insert character> react to X happening? How would the other react? What would happen if.... and so on. <<Or take Fatal Mistake. Suppose Alexandra had killed Nick. What would Nat do then? Or Janette? And would LaCroix go after Alexandra, or would he just shrug it off and try again? >> Nat would morn his passing but would go on, knowing he would want her to. She would miss the research challenge of trying to cure him. Janette would morn him, and might just go after Alexandra for revenge. I think LC would morn him as well but would probably hunt Alexandra down and torture her before killing her. Telling her that no one messes with HIS property. Who knows, maybe he'd try to get Nat to be a headstrong replacement for Nick. The production is the world premiere of "Joy of the Desolate" by Oliver Meyer. The play places a Native American in the austere "halls of ivy". Choral music pervades the life of the central character as he faces alienation and questions his cultural identity. Feel free to e-mail me for more information on this play (performance schedule, ticket prices, etc.) Also..... Ger's music CD BAR TALK is once again available from the GWDFC. The 12 compositions were all written, arranged and performed by GWD. The CD, which benefits the Childrens Hospital Foundation, is available for $20 per CD (plus $2 shipping and handling per order, not per CD) from the GWDFC. For more information plus sound clips visit the CD web page at http://www.gwdfc.com/1957/cdinfo.html . Anybody who would like to place an ad for the CD on their web sites is welcome to do so! Gladys, is Nanette's story somewhere on the web? And if it is, where can I find it? So far, I only found 1 story in German. A Night in Toronty, by Bimo, is a crossover with X-files, and although the title is English, the story itself is written in German. It's on http://www.fan-fiction.de . Anyone else remember? In "Mortality" by Karin Welss, Nick regains his mortality, is paralyzed from a gunshot in the line of duty, then visited in the hospital by LaCroix... in "Eve of All Saints" by Mary Combs, Nick is once again shot and paralyzed in the line of duty, but the ending to this story is a bit more optimistic, IMHO :) Both stories are posted at Mel's fanfic site. You can read this story and more in the public archives of the DFFL list on egroups/onelist (Zahle den Preis is in messages 17-20.). If you don't succeed, I can send it to you, of course.
