> OK, as we're all discussing the thought on FK and what could possibly

retired, and it'd be hard to replace Janette... it led me into wondering how
a new strong female vamp could be introduced, and who would play her.

Hm, I don't know my actors very well, so, I just say some stunning mid
30's-40 year old actor.
She would be a vampire...or not<eg>, not nessesarily old but strong and
independant within herself. She would need that spunk to be able to stand on
an equal footing with LC...at least in private.<g>
I would rather she be someone he has never encountered before, that way he
would have to learn to deal with her, and frankly if she had been around and
that wonderful before he may not have held onto Fleur's memory quite so
passionately. It would be really interesting to watch their relationship
develope over several episodes.

 Yes!! YES!! YEESS!!!!
Meg is the only actress that comes to mind who looks like she
could freeze LaCroix solid with a glance. What a twosome!
ASIDE: if you really want the full power of the Meg look check
out a film called LEVIATHAN. There is a scene where I swear she
is a space alien.
And the lady can act too. It isn't just the eyes.

Sounds like you guys are casting for the FK sequel/spinoff, "After the
Knight".

Premise: After a series of disasters destroys his "family" and friends, a
vampire patriarch must learn to adjust to life alone.

Starring Nigel Bennett as Lucius (Lucien Lacroix).

Sigh....
        Another one.
        Listen carefully.
I'll only risk saying this once on an open list.

The world you acknowledge is a dream. A construct. There
was no "Last Knight". It was a creation of the Shadow Government
enforced by the FCC. They have used sensory and hallucinogenic
gases to cloud your thoughts. To make you think that Forever
Knight really ended.

        There was no Last.....

<voice badly distorted and tone-deaf> As I was saying, Last
Knight was one of my favorite episodes as it ended a television
show with some class. Sorry, I must go write my Congressman
and ask him to give the FCC more money.

Said program above to be run in tandem with the new show "Crusader," where a
now-human Nick, free from LaCroix, lives as a mortal with Natalie in a new
city, both of them having somehow survived unbeknownst to LC. (hey, it's
TV... anything can happen.) Nick and Nat transfer someplace sunny, and
resume their careers after changing their names.

Crossovers, a la Hercules/Xena, are planned.

The tension builds as audiences of both shows realize that a confrontation is
imminent. What will happen when LC discovers that not only is Nick alive,
but is HUMAN??? What will Nick do to remain free from the clutches of his
former master? Will Nick and Nat ever be safe from the Enforcers?

How did Nick and Nat explain their strange wounds to everyone? Who was the
unknown vampire who helped them and hid them from LC as he, in his grief,
ignored the happenings of mortals and moved on himself?

And who is this strange chick named "Buffy" in LC's new hometown?

For information on managing your subscription and on listserv commands,
please see Don Fasig's page
http://www.geocities.com/Athens/7139/fk-lists.htm

1. No flames on list. FLAMERS MAY BE SET NOPOST. THE NOPOST MAY BE
PERMANENT.

2. Please don't quote more than four lines of a previous post
in replying. If you have more than one point to answer, then you may quote
the relevant four lines for that point also.

3. Limit sigs to 6 lines. This includes all information, decoration
quotations and blank lines. Your name and address count as part of
the six. If you sign your name on a separate line above the body of
text, your name and the blank line or lines between count as part of
the six line limit. If you have one of those services that insists
on putting an advertising tag on the end of posts, don't worry. I
realize you can't control that and it doesn't count as part of your
sig.

4. Please don't send to the whole list when you are only talking to the
person who wrote the post you are answering.

5. Advertising on list is on a case by case basis. Please consult the
listowners, Lisa McDavid, mclisa@m....... or Don Fasig,
phase3@g....... for permission.

6. This list is for the discussion of Forever Knight. Cast, crew, staff
and producers in connection with what they're doing now or have done in
the past are ok. Vampires in general are _NOT_ ok except in relation
to Forever Knight.

7. Off-topic posts are not allowed, no matter what they are about or
how urgent the warning may appear. If you have an off-topic post which
you think should appear on the list, ask one of the owners for permission.

8. The private lives of the cast are not a discussion topic. Occasionally
one of the fan club presidents will make an announcement, but other than
that, we leave the cast their privacy.

9. Con announcements must come from con officials or a designated
liaison and must be kept brief. Cons are only announced on list if there
is a connection to FK.

10. Only fan club presidents or other designated spokespeople may
make announcements of future projects for FK cast, crew and staff,
before said projects have been released or written about in the
media.

11. No role-playing on Forkni-l. This includes no character names as
pseudonyms or posing as a character.

12. Each subscriber is limited to five posts per day on Forkni-l.

I'll be happy to explain the reason for any of the above if asked.

Thanks!

So, would "Vampire P.I.s" be too cheesy a title? :-)
