Considering USA's "Spicy! SeXXXy!" spin on FK, and Disney's attempts to
maintian a wholsome image, I really doubt that they would touch it with a 10
foot stake.

April 17, 2000

His Father's Son, sequel to Keeper of the King, is finished!

There is no information on when it will be in print yet, but Baen Books
expects it
to be sometime late this year or early in 2001. Go to the Books section at
www.blackhatstation.com to read the promo.

It's hard for me to imagine the Disney channel running Forever Knight. Are
they running the very old Zorro from decades ago the fifties, I think, with
Guy Somebody, I think, in the lead role? I watched that when I was a kid, and
it seemed to be a kid's show.

True, but they also have more "grown-up" properties such as Touchstone
Films. Now that they have ABC in their back pocket, they might consider a
TV movie. You never know.

Greetings all,
Disney produced and filmed the Zorro program. The star was Guy Williams.

Subject: 1999 Story Nominations

I just finished reading the 1999 Non-Adult Short Story Nominations.
Yes, I know, I'm so far behind I won't catch up on everything, but I
*had* to post an appreciation to the hard-working authors. Wow! That's
the most descriptive word I can say right now. How am I supposed to
chose just one to vote for.

Subject: Web Site Update

Greetings Everyone !

I've finally finished slapping a new virtual
coat of paint on my web site, The Dark
Knight Lair, and invite you by for a visit.
I've tried to add something new to every
page.

The highlights are the 10 new pictures
for the FK filming sites maps courtesy
of RavenKat. (Marg Yamanaka has
sent me some new sites to add to the
maps - I'll be adding those next week).

Under Art Gallery - Picture; the first
page has all of the black & white and
color slides from my season 3 FK
press kit. I did my best to scan them
large enough to see what's written below
the pics. Page 2 has cropped/copied
press kit pictures from the other 2 seasons.
I bought them on the internet or ebay.

The main DK Lair page has a 1999
fanfic awards banner. It's 140kb and
loads like a dog (approx. 1 minute)
holding up the graphics but please be
patient and I'm sure you'll
agree it was well worth the wait.
When the awards are over I'll be changing
the animated banner to a static one.

There's the addy:
http://www.alpinemeadow.com/fk/

Thanks and I hope to see your comments
in my new guestbook.
