LaCroix: Lion
Nick: Lion cub ((still cute and playful, but can be a killer))
Jeanette: white wolf
Screed: allagater ((the only really odd one...))
Tracy: graffe ((to quote a friend "because her head is always in the clouds",
maybe that should be nick?))
Screed: a white tiger ((i think... my friend borrowed him back again...and
his house is Still not made yet...))

Divia: i think it is called a jagaur..((sp?)) like the cool car, but is a
mean kitty.
the rest i'd need an up-date from tab.

still working on building us a Raven.
so far we have nick's loft ((even with a sliding door!, very hard to make on
a shoe box!)), the morgue ((with a head in the big cooler, with a tag saying
"happy brithday LaCroix" LOL)), a house for Jeanette... and a "made-up"
vampire friend, Xaiver that is a panda bear, and he had his house.....
well, i'm sorry i've been so not too talkative of late, but as you should i

Subject: beating heart

Someone said, "I thought he meant they needed a beating heart to get
the identification with the victim which is apparently such a rush."

Nick says, "We need the beating heart to feed." Then he goes on to
explain that each drop of blood contains all the feelings, memories,
knowledge, etc. of the victim. So apparently the beating heart is
necessary to bring the blood to the wound. However, (and this is
probably what caused the confusion) sticking a knife in the heart is
supposed to "sweeten the blood" (Nick's words). The blood tastes
better then (because of the additional dash of fear or knowledge of
death--something vampires cannot experience??), but the body must be
drained by means of gravity.

I wonder just what percentage of blood would really be left if a
vampire only took what the heart could pump out of the neck? I
imagine the amount would depend somewhat on whether the neck remained
above the rest of the body. Any medical professionals out there who
could enlighten us? Would it really be only a small amount, as FK
has led us to believe?

I went to the Robocop poster website

and saw that GWD seems to have unbleached, unspikey hair. What's up?
Does he play more than one character in the three Robocop movies he's
in? Does his character change hairstyles half-way through? Or does
his character
suffer Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde transformations?

Well, I really hope I didn't upset anyone when I asked for the addy. I did get
McLisa's okay, and I don't want to get anyone mad at me. I just thought it
would be a good example of mental illness for my bro, and it has helped hi
project a lot.

And I'm playing Devil's advocate here, I know. I totally agree with y'all that
it is the product of a sick mind. I also agree that it is character defamation
toward Ger and is an abominatrion. But I do think it serves a purpose. It
shows how not to think, how not to act, how not to be. It can also serve as a
chilling reminder of how carried away some "fans" can get.

I'm not saying it should stay up. All I'm saying is that from a completely
scientific point of view, it does offer a peek into a disturbed mind.

Okay, I'm shutting up now.

I recommend you read a short story that takes place just after the last
episode. I have forgotten the name, but I know others can help here. The
story is written from Sydney's pov--Uncle claims the cat and together they
return to France, where Sydney lives in the warm sun with sad soul who
lives in the cool night.

Well you can imagine the shock when we went to G5 in Dec and saw Ger's hair
like you discribed. After a little while you get used to it. But I love his
natural colour and waves. He's supposed to be playing the doctor/tech on
Robocop... Or so I heard. And aren't most tv techs alittle off on the crazy
side.?

Speaking of freezing and thawing whole blood products, unless the freezing
and thawing occurs in controlled conditions, the red blood cells hemolyze.
Would this make the blood unusable as a food source?

As I recall the line, it went........."We need the beating heart to
feed, to bring the blood to the neck......."

However, as shown on Francesca also, a person who's heart is not beating
can still be drained by using gravity to draw the blood to a deep open
wound. This wouldn't completely drain the body either, but would get
most of it.

Thinking about vampire food...

"Welcome to SuperMarket for Vampires." (Vamps? Vachon's?..) "Open All
Night!
Here we have the frozen food section: bagged blood, blood popsickles, blood
Haagen Daaz...
Across the aisle: Fresh Produce! Take your pick of fresh human---anything
from homeless to computer techie--- hand picked by professional vampires who
know their business. Best selection on the market!
Down here is our Florist Department where you can pick up white roses by the
dozen. Or perhaps a nice card for that special someone along with either a
bottle of imported bloodwine or stake----depending on the occassion you wish
remembered.
For those wishing to explore Exotic Gourmet tastes, Aisle 8 carries such
fare as pickled blood, blood youghurt and such.
We even cater to those with... shall we say... unfortunate dietary
peccadilloes. Our Down to Earth Department carries anything from dog to cow
to pig. In case you have to deal with a carouche or some rebellious
fledgling going through 'the stage'.
May I interest you in our Mortal Latte at the Raven Cafe? Tuesdays are
Ancient 25% Discount Night."

Hemolyze means the red cells break up. Whether this would effect the ability
of the vampire's system to ingest and use them is something I can't say.
However, we don't have any evidence I can remember that FK vampires can eat
anything solid, so I doubt it about frozen blood.
