You Know You've Been Watching Too Much FK when...

1. You actually start to wonder exactly how anyone could be watching too
much FK.

2. You're sure any and all other TV shows could be improved by an FK
crossover.

3. You're watching ANGEL and you swear you just heard that Cordy is going to
the Raven. But she wasn't. I checked the tape...((sigh))

4. While writing your English Regents essay (and I actually did this and
started myself on a gigglefest), you absentmindedly start writing part of a
fanfic you're working on.(((Mr. Beers was NOT happy with me)))

5. You start to wonder if factions should have official colors...Well, it's
an idea...

Okay, that's about it.... Its amazing how completely screwy the human mind
can be!! But here's the real mind twister...I was talking with my grandma,
who has the weirdest taste in TV and movies (I know some of you may take this
the wrong way, but it's really weird to see your grandmother shouting during
an action movie that Jean Claude Van Dame should 'Just kick that guy's *ss!',
not to mention the thing with "Hercules: the Legendary Journeys"...) But
anyway, I love her, and we're talking about how TV networks cancel good
shows. She's upset that they stopped making Hercules, and I start to talk
about FK, in a bit of a roundabout way since most of my family consider me
weird. Anyway, she suddenly says. "Are you talking about that vampire show
with the cop?" And I'm like shocked that she knows what I'm talking about.
Then she goes on to say... "Oh yeah, I love that show. The blonde guy was so
hot, and the coroner and he made a cute couple..." Let me just tell you,
folks... It's amazing to find out she's a fan, and more than a little freaky
to hear your grandmother.... argh... But I just had to share...

The General? That was Dark Squirette, who learned from Nicholas de Brabant,
vampire. (You *do* remember Nicholas having his fun in Blood Money, don't
you? <eg> He was being *very* bad---while still cute as a button.)

To the question Rayne put on how many vampires are there, if we knew how
many humans(prey) it took to support one vampire(predator), then we (well, a
mathematically inclined person anyways) should be able to give a guesstimate
on how many vampires the world could support---remembering that low
population areas would probably not have any vampires at all, and that this
would not count carouches.

About 8-10 people who sent me their NAME/STATE/COUNTRY on a Monday or
Tuesday won't see their name on the list. I just added all the ones I have
gotten the last few days earlier. Please check here:

http://members.xoom.com/forever_nick/Forever_Knight/bring_back_the_knight_pe
tition.htm

If you're one of the ones I lost and are not there please re-send your
NAME/STATE/COUNTRY to kris1228@s........

I'm sorry for any inconvience. My computer had a MAJOR crash the last few
days and is finally back up and normal. I had to re-install several programs
including my e-mail box, so I lost several petition names I was planning to
add. Sorry about that!

Thanks to all who have signed! :)

OK. This one got me to delurk. You have brought up one of my
"favorite" inconsistencies. If it takes a "beating heart" to enjoy a
blood meal....how can vamps enjoy biting one another when their hearts
only beat once every 10 minutes? Apparently, there can be no "quickies"
for vamp (ummmmm, trying to make this PG) interludes! ;)

Hi, all! If anyone is coming to Halifax to see Nigel's performance, I
would love to meet up with you, as I live here. I already have received
notes from some wonderful people who are coming. Please reply off-list.

However, Francesca slit their throats to get the blood after they were dead,
so perhaps the vamps could sort of treat frozen victims like a Popsicle
(eeew, gross image). After all Nick keeps his "red wine" in the fridge so
he's used to cold blood :-)

Is that before or after TPTB go on a slaughtering-fest?

Sorry. I'm still a relative newbie to FK, and just experienced the series
finale for the first time a couple months ago. I'm still in shock!

Somewhere in the tens of thousands. They have to keep their numbers low for
survival's sake, and those who are made are chosen quite carefully. They
have to be very selective about who they turn and who they don't.

Hey Gang,

I was recently going through some old links of mine.
I was trying to decide which links to delete, keep, rename, and re-file.
As I surfed the various mystery sites, I came across that infamous
"anti-Ger" site.

I could have sworn that this piece of crap had been removed.
I was expecting to see an "error" screen, or "This site no longer exists"
screen.
But, there it was, larger than life, that waste of web space that trashes
Mr. Wyn Davies.

Last I checked that is defamation of character, a crime in which one can be
fined.

What's the skinny?
That horrible site is still on the web! It must go!

If I recall, his fan club representatives asked that it be totally ignored.
Also, I may be wrong (McLisa - please correct me if I am) but we were asked
not to discuss it here either. I didn't save the e-mails though. Too
unpleasant.

But if we raise a rucuss about it, that is exactly what the site was suppose
to do.

So, please everyone, let's just ignore it as requested

It's been a long time since I watched that episode, but I thought he meant
they needed a beating heart to get the identification with the victim which
is apparently such a rush.

Then again, I admit I'm using a cheese garnish. :)

I don't actually recall asking that we not discuss the anti-Ger site on
Forkni-l. However, I do think it's a case of the less said the better. The
woman's just not playing with even half a deck.

I missed the post prior to yours, but I remember the "beating heart"
being a
factor in pumping the blood up to the throat. Once the heart stops, that's
all a vampire gets.

Which explains why victims' bodies are described as "almost drained of
blood." There's a bit left. Probably not a lot, but a bit. Pretty
cheese-less explanation, but then, I'm watching my fat content. ;-)
