I was watching Black Bhudda the other night, and I noticed Screed telling
Vachon that he didn't know him, never saw him before, etc. On subsequent
episodes, I have seen at least one flashback where Vachon and Screed were
carousing together with some ladies. The time period appeared to be
18th-19th century.

I have to assume that Screed said that as a jest in feigned irritation
with an old friend.

   Just a thought.

Her name was Briana. She was a vampire. A helpful reference may be the
list of known vamps found on the Unofficial FK Web Page.

It wasn't feigned irritation. Screed had just been told that the Inca was hot
on Vachon's trail, and didn't want to have anything to do with Vachon because
of the associated danger.

Screed was kidding. The Inca was after Vachon, remember, and Screed didn't
want to get in the middle of it. His saying he didn't know Vachon, never
saw him, is sort of like the equivalent of going to the mall with your mom
and she embarrasses you in front of your friends. You tell everyone "I
don't know this woman. I've never seen her before." ;)

Hi everyone -

There have been a lot of posts asking for help in getting _off_ the "War"
topic on FKFIC-L - but here's a question I bet a few people might be
wondering - how to get _on_ the "War" topic: somehow my subscription
automatically has no "War" - which, incidentally, is why I missed the last
one - I never saw it coming!!! Please e-mail me (Plan2@a.......) - and thank
you!

I contacted Mr. Olson last winter regarding the cancellation of
Forever Knight, and I got a very nice phone call in return, in which
he said that there would be "new" episodes shown in the spring, and
also that reruns would start on the SciFi channel in late 1996. The
"new" episodes that he was referring to turned out to be the 4 final
episodes, which at that time had not been aired anywhere. I very
much doubt that there are 9 brand-new episodes out there, but rather
that there is a set of 9 episodes which have not aired somewhere and
so could be called "unseen", or something like that.

It is nice to know that Mr. Olson is still answering his letters with
personal responses. Even if he is now answering by letter rather than
by personal phone call, someone in his office is keeping track of the
FK mail, which can only work in our favor. Hopefully everyone will
continue to write to Mr. Olson, as he seems to be paying attention.

But wasn't Screed saying that sarcastically because Vachon had
brought Tracy to Screed's lair? I haven't seen BB since it aired, will

I think it would be helpful if us newbies had a clear picture of who is who
in the fan fight for Forever Knight. Is there an actual or virtual committee
which coordinates things from our side? Some one person or web site we could
check with so we dont step on anyones toes or shoot ourselves in the foot.

Like making a prioritized list of who to write to. As new fans discover us,
they would be given the list. Say the list has 26 names and addresses (TPTB,
advertisers, cable companies, etc.) Week 1 write to #1 on the list, week 2
write to #2 on the list, wk3 #3 and so on. Over 26 weeks there would be a
steady stream of letters to the top priority names. Each fan would only have
to write one letter a week. And even if they recognized it as a coordinated
effort they would see that new people become involved all the time.

Give us a listing of who handles what.
   charity script sales; wishing cranes; print publicity; web site linking;
chat rooms; flyer design; registering web sites with search engines; phone
campaign; email campaign, letter writing campaign; fan clubs; conventions;

Well I posted this on fkspoilr late last night but several people said they
didn't get it. I figure maybe it didn't get in under the wire. Anyway,
here's my "ta ta" to the spoiler list:

What happens to mailing lists when they go down? Well, look no more. Here
then are the Top Ten Fates of FKspoilr:

10. In 1999 the list will be seen in Times Square dressed as Baby New Year
in a diaper and top hat.

9. The list will be spotted pregnant with Elvis' love child somewhere in
the Gamma Quadrant.

8. The list will become a Psychic Phone Pal and earn ridiculous amounts of
money predicting the futures of other mailing lists.

7. In 2001, the list will be touched by a band of docile monkeys who then
pick up bones and beat the hell out of each other.

6. The list will replace Stephen Spielberg as the director of the sequel to
Jurassic Park - the dinosaurs will all drive Caddies!

5. The list will take over the world, slowly replacing human beings with
violent robots and then send one back into the past to harrass the PSUVM
hamsters.

4. In August 1997, the image of the list will be spotted on a tortilla in a
midwestern Piggly Wiggly - thousands will flock to behold its magnificence.

3. The list will be voted President of the United States and the First Pet
will be a hamster named Socks.

2. A mirage of the list will be seen in Amish country, after which 50
farmers all invest in IBM stock and hold FK parties for Pennsylvania area fans.

and the number one fate of FKspoilr is:

1. The list will one day again be necessary!

(Sappy, huh?)

Toodles. See you on forkni and SKL!

Does anyone else out there have to deal with Hartland Wireless Communications

that used to provide cable T.V. out there didn't provide the Sci-Fi channel,
but they have just been taken over by Hartland. (Yes, that really is the
name. I gather Hartland provides cable T.V. for the heartland?) I wrote to
Hartland about two weeks ago asking for the Sci-Fi channel, and letting them
know that I need to make a decision between cable T.V. or a satellite dish.
I haven't heard back from them, and I'm going to write to them again, being
more definate this time. (i.e. - If you're not going to provide the Sci-Fi
network, so that I can get Forever Knight, I will buy a satellite dish.)
I just wondered if anybody else knows anything about Hartland.

The SOS/FK web site: http://members.aol.com/CuznJamiMR/SaveForeverKnight.html

It gives you great guidelines and just about holds your hand along the way.

Everything is there. There is nothing prioritized as it is important that
"all" be written to.

> As new fans discover us,they would be given the list.

Are you offering? (No, I'm not being sarcastic)
I still am adamant though that I do not feel that there should be any
organized effort in terms of spamming one address a week! This would be far
too noticeable!

>And even if they recognized it as a coordinated effort they would see that
>new people become involved all the time.

And they would also assume that they were just part of a fringe element
rather than the public at large. They aren't stupid. They know about "peer
pressure" and fanatiscism. The letters that they are interested in are the
kind that come from people who all by themselves, with no urging from anyone
else, notices that their favorite show is there and they want to know why. I
hope that there are people out there like this who are writing and *we* just
don't know about them!

Subject: CD on WotW?

Raissa Devereux sited CD on Friday the 13th (6/12) & I was all ready
to present another CD siting, but maybe I'm wrong.

Was Catherine Disher on War of the Worlds series? SciFi channel aired
this show last night @ midnight, & though Cedric Smith played the alien-
of-the-week, I thought I would see CD. If she WAS on it, but a different
season, etc., can anyone tell me what portion of the show included her?
I DO remember her from that show, right?

Anyway, if we can see her, WotW is on SciFi, late Sunday nights.

If everyone wrote a letter a week to a different person/company, this
would be good. But not as a coordinated "spam" effort, just as
individuals. I've been writing a letter to a different person every week
since December. Download the list from the web page, or go to Karen
Tobin's web page and get the sponsors list and just write a letter ...
nothing fancy ... just a polite "thank you for advertising on our show"
letter.

Still am and am in the process of updating them. Anyone who has articles
of any kind about the show, please get in touch with me; I'm interested in
copies.

Actually, this was Catherine Siemann, not Catherine Boone. Her email is
cas47@c........ I'm also on that list of people: Cynthia Hoffman at

Hi there!

This just came off the ZENtertainment sheet!

In addition, it appears that the original comic book figure, The Incredible
Hulk, which had a run on prime time TV years ago [yes, I remember this
show....so what of it? :)] is going to be redone as a cartoon.

Question (there is a point to this!!)

Would it be sacrilege to have Forever Knight re-incarnated (so to
speak) as a cartoon series? Or even as a comic book? Is there any
possibility of this developing? As an aside, New Line Cinema seems to be
the major company with film capacity that handles "outre" characters; i.e.
coming up is The Spawn and Marvel's Blade....This could be the outlet for a
Forever Knight film in the near (hopefully) future.

Hello! We're also in St. Pete! Nice to know we're not alone.
(Anybody else in the Tampa Bay (area, that is)?)

For those of you in the central FL area: FK airs on Channel 10
at 12:35am Saturday Night/Sunday Morning, and hasn't, in recent
memory, been pre-empted. (TJ knocks on the wood desk ...)

Hello, true believers!

Just in case you were wondering... no, you didn't get any secret
hush-hush insights as to who the warmistress is... just a little more
info on who it isn't. <g> Dianne was beta-reading that rules post for
me (since it was mostly based on hers anyway), and she asked if it would
be all right to bring in Perri and Catherine for some second opinions.
She bounced me the above. For those of you who have never had Dianne
bounce you email, her mailbox is strange, and the message reads as
coming from the person *she* got it from. Believe me, her mailer causes
me no small amount of confusion sometimes. <g> At any rate I, in my
questionable competence when it comes to things AOL, managed to
bungle the forward, so you all got the same message twice.

For which I'm truly sorry, and believe me, I'll be spending the rest of
the day today making sure it won't happen again.

Until then, keep those thinking caps on. Maybe I'll slip up sometime, and
you really will be able to figure out who I am before wartime.

With love,
WarMistress
