The reason I gave the advice I gave was because I was under the impression
that you were asking if we *all* should send condolence cards. I certainly
didn't mean to try to try to tell an *individual* what to do. But I *did*
think it might get nasty if we *all* started sending the cards. That was my
worry, and anything I said about stooping to TPTB's sneaky levels was meant
in general and not aimed at any one person. Apologies. My god a Cousin

Why not ask Fred himself? Judging from correspondence I've had with him,
chances are that he's probably pretty clueless as to whether any images of
him exist on the WWW (or any other part of the Internet, for that matter),
but he probably keeps up reasonably well with what is in print. His email

Try to keep the messages short and to the point, though, since, like all

FK being on SciFi need not be a death sentence, depending when they
show it. If it's tucked away at three in the morning, that could be a
problem, but if it's on at a decent time people *will* see it. Not that
many cable companies carry SciFi now, but it is the most requested
channel, and is being offered by more and more systems each month. That
means a steady stream of new viewers. Yes, of course, running HL and FK
together each night is a good idea (throw in QL as well, there's a
large crossover audience there, too), and we should certainly keep up
the pressure on USA, but until that happens, let's not be depressed
about it being on SciFi. Especially as SciFi viewers will undoubtedly
love FK.
The main thing to remember is that we don't give up. It might not
happen quickly, it might be years even, but it *will* happen. What we
have to do is keep up a steady stream of pressure. Take Quantum Leap as
an example. After NBC canceled it (and don't get me started on that or
I'll be here all day) everyone but the fans assumed it was dead. No
way! It's a big hit on cable, there are videos, a CD, three conventions
in the US each year plus others worldwide, and the fan club is twice
the size of when the show was canceled, not to mention the books (over
a million copies of the novels in print, plus several non-fiction books)
. Online, there are large groups of fans on AOL and Genie (where there
are three regularly scheduled chats each week), a thriving newsgroup
and dozens of websites. No, we don't have our movie yet, but we have
been told it will happen, and I have no doubt that it will, eventually.
My point is, that even though we've (as somebody else said) lost the
battle, the war isn't over. So long as there are cousins and Natpackers
and everyone else around, so long as we don't let this setback get us
down, Forever Knight will never die. We won't let it.

The Nigel Bennett Fan Club would like to inform you
of an upcoming event. A Fan Wrap Party and Charity
Auction hosted by Nigel Bennett. He will be
auctioning off much of the wardrobe that was
prepared for him in his role as LaCroix (Both
present day and flashback garb) plus props donated
by Nick Gray from the set of *Forever Knight*. This
will take place in October of 1996 in San

Does anyone remember where this lullaby was to in the episode?? I only
saw it a few months ago on NTV, and I have absolutly no recollection of
this being in the episode. Now I would go back and watch it myself, but

Not necessarily so. While not all cable systems, maybe not even most, have
Sci-Fi Channel, a lot of them *do*. Also, most of the stuff run on that
channel has been rerun many, MANY times, and even MORE times during the
channel's special "marathon days." Titles that immediately spring to mind are
UFO, QUANTUM LEAP, THE PRISONER and BATTLESTAR GALACTICA/GALACTICA 1980. Also,
starting with its two marathon days of KOLCHAK: THE NIGHT STALKER, Sci-Fi
has been rerunning KOLCHAK off and on Friday evenings for the past three months,
with deep and buried rumours of SOME sort of revival of that show planned, at
least as a crossover with X-FILES (since creator Chris Carter is a big KOLCHAK
fan).
It's not a perfect solution by any means, But since USA runs godawful wrestling
and 10-15-year-old game show eps and Sci-Fi keeps running the aforementioned
shows to its heart's content, we may have to take what we can get. ;D

OK, this is my second try at this so please be patient. I am new Knightie in
the technical sense, but a fan Forever. I have read several posts discussing
this amazing FKfic and fanfic but I have no idea how to locate this material.
All the posts I have seen so far do not have private email addresses
listed(Probably b/c they've been doing this awhile!) so here is my universal
cry for help!! I do not have web access, only email and since it is through

Not if you live in the right city!:::ducking flying objects::: But, hey,
don't you think the same never-say-die people on FORKNI-L who mounted
*practically overnight* a SOSFK campaign we can all be proud of are up to a
little cable persuasion? Call your cable companies *right now* and request
the Sci-Fi channel as part of their package! Call them again next month.
Get your friends to call them. By the time FK hits the Sci-Fi Channel you
may have it. IF YOU ASK FOR IT!! (You'll just have to swallow the bitter
pill that you are helping increase revenue for you-know-who.)
I'm moving to a new city later this year. A large city without the Sci-Fi
Channel. And I've already asked two friends to make that phone call for me.
And I'm gonna ask them again. and again. and again. And you can *bet* I'll
make it myself as soon as I get there. There's NO WAY I'm gonna miss those
first season FK episodes again!
And once I've exercised my right as a consumer, Kay K. will owe me
*another* thank you note I'll never get.
Wait, maybe we could MAKE A DEAL with her. We (listmembers) deliver
X-number of new markets for the Sci-Fi Channel, she gets us one FK movie!
Double that, two movies! How's that for incentive!?! Who wants to call Kay
and give her the good news?!?!?!

Has anyone looked at the episode guide that's linked to
Jasmine's Forever Knight home page?. Is the list for the
second season in the order they were produced or the
order they originally aired?. I only discovered "Forever
Knight" in the middle of last summer, and I'm trying to
figure out the chronology of events. I do realize that with
"Forever Knight" that might be utterly impossible.
