I can't see Uncle and Tracy together, but I'd love to see the
scene when LaCroix meets the "Perky" one for the first time.

Whaaaaaaa!!!!!!

They've "gone back to the 2 hour format for boxing."

Ugh.

Can I hurl now? Yeeeech...

The interesting thing is that it WAS scheduled at 9pm tonight when I
checked the online cable guide (through the TV) this afternoon. Then,
I saw the advert for boxing, checked the guide again at around 7pm.
Nope, no FK. $#%^&$%^$#%^&!! $#%^$#^%^%$#^&!!

And of course all the programming people at the cable company went
home by 5pm. How conVEEEEENient. <grumble, growl>

It is still scheduled for 1am Thursday - Fever - does anyone know, or
can anyone find out, if it's actually going to run on Thursday or if
that's going to be preempted too?

I'm hoping to tape Fever directly from USA. If I can't, then I'll
turn to the tape tree network. Memo: Gotta get sleep! (yea right...)

Subject: The Goodies have started to arrive!

Was talking with some of the crew today and found out that the first
shipment of Goodies, that were sent to Paragon, finally arrived at the
studio.

Boy, did we make an impression!! (Take a bow, everyone who sent a
package!) The crew went absolutely nuts...they had to stop production
for awhile because everyone was crowding around, opening the boxes and
oohing and aahing over the presents!

To the Philadelphia Phans - they LOVED the Hershey's chocolates, and
were bowled over by the decorations on the bars! To whoever sent the
soap bubbles - the crew went wild, and there were apparently bubbles
in every corner of the studio! Not to single out >only< those two
packages - the crew was absolutely enamoured of every single present!
And they were almost speechless at all the letters they got! Nigel
read out some of the letters that detailed the things we've done, such
as the charity drives and NATPE, and the crew was absolutely AWED!!
They couldn't believe how much the fans care about the show, and the
concrete ways they've shown that. It boosted the morale on the set
TREMENDOUSLY! I think they have a whole new respect for themselves
...>and< the fans.

GOOD WORK, GUYS!!

I was the person who proposed that the people giving up Diet Coke
should have an escape clause in their vows if Diet Coke became a

the vow, especially if the two affected people WRITE LETTERS to the
Coca-Cola company explaining how ecstatic they are that they can drink
Diet Coke again.

Actually, I was thinking of a different scene, an interior shot of Nick
walking away from the camera into another room. He is wearing tight, faded
jeans and some kind of shirt. It is an incidental scene with nothing
memorable except the view of GWD's trim figure, and I have no idea what
episode it was from.

Recently there was a post including previous credits of the FK cast. I
noticed that GWD's list was conspicuously (sp?) missing his televised
Stratford Festival performances. My mother's husband and I have been
disagreeing, as of late, about GWD being in a Stratford production based
on Shakespeare's "Two Gentlemen of Verona". He says it doesn't exist and
I'm almost positive it was called "The Boys from Syracuse". Does anyone
remember this being aired, it was probably only on in Canada on CBC, but
if anyone can tell me I win this argument I'll give you a virtual *bunny

Subject: flyer help needed ASAP for the weblorn

I have neither web access nor a graphics program (not enough room on my
hard drive) and I need to get a quick and dirty flyer put together in time to
take to a gathering this Saturday night. Could someone email me a flyer
(preferably in Word for Mac, but I'll settle for ASCII) with room to type in
local TV station information? Something that will look halfway decent without
pasting in graphics or an FK logo, which may be beyond my skill/available
programs.

I also have about two weeks lead time to put together a better-looking
flyer to take to a con (PantheaCon in San Jose). I am gathering information
about northern California TV stations that are showing FK to put in this
flyer. I already have information for San Francisco.
I have asked Lana Soward (spelling?) for help with this one, but if
someone within driving distance of SF could make it up for me, with graphics,
that would be great. I have mediocre quality first season tapes as a bribe,
to loan out (I only have one VCR, so I can't copy them).

Is Andy Kaplan, the man interviewed in the NATPE article, at the same
address as Feltheimer? I want to send him a note along with Kay,
Jon, and Rod. And I found the *perfect* cards to write FK
letters in--the front is a color photo of a little blonde boy wearing
plastic Halloween-costume type armor and helmet and holding a plastic
shield and mace. It's little Neecolah!!!! :) (except for the jeans
and tennies he's also wearing)
And you know you've told too many people about FK recently when
you're riding your horsey at night and a bat swoops down into the
arena and someone shouts, "Hey, is that your friend Nick?" Ahhh, the
teasing I put up with for the Cause... ;) (Actually, the rest of
the conversation, with other people joining in, went soemthing like:
"And she seemed so normal and well-adjusted, too." "Shut up, or I'll
call Nick back to bite you." "Hey, he can't bite Vicki. She's
already a bloodsucker." (Vicki is an attorney--<ducking as Laura,
Laurie, et al. hurl heavy objects at me...>) :) Well, at least
they're immediately associating bats with Nick! It's that
name-recognition thing, and it's a good thing.

When is the last possible time for them to receive it? In other words,
when will they be finished shooting the 3rd season?

Well it's all just appearances anyway! ;) Sure, Vachon *looks* young, but
he's older than all my grandparents and Crazy Uncle Charlie combined! I
mean, if you look at it in terms of age, then Lacroix, Nick, AND the
baby-faced Vachon are ALL too old for either Tracy or Nat! I mean, what's

There are, however, people who work for the FK production studio who
never make it into the credits. We haven't yet been successful in
getting a list of their names to send them individual gifts, but if you
throw in a bunch more chocolates or toys or whatever, saying they are for
"the little people who make FK great but don't make it into the credits",
that should take care of them.

> I think you have *about* 3 more weeks to get GOODIES there.

I've heard something similar about how much time we have left to send
things. If you are planning on sending something, leave about 1 1/2 to 2
weeks for it to get to the studio. That gives you about a week or so to
send your packages and be sure they'll get there in time!

Get crackin'! We know they appreciate them, and we're making a real
difference! (Thanks, Lynne, for the scoop!!!) By the way, I'm *still*
hoping to see those telltale signs of chocolate overload in the last few
episodes, and maybe even a few squirtguns and bubble blowers lying around
unexplained on the set? (I can just imagine them sitting on Nick's desk
at the precinct!)

E-mail me off-list if you want the credits list or have any questions.
And don't forget to let me know what you've sent so we can add it to the
reports!

The address to send things is:

  Paragon Entertainment/Forever Knight

MARCH: Lacroix wearing a Roman-style bath wrap comtemplating a

APRIL: A shirtless Vachon looking at Tracy lying on a Brass bed

SEPTEMBER Urs stepping out of a tub, all dripping, with just a

OCTOBER: Lacroix shirtless, vamped out, with a nubile young maiden.
NOVEMBER: Screed looking hungrily at a rat, with Vachon looking
                  distracted in the background.
DECEMBER: A cast photo of everybody.

Okay, I'm sure that not everyone will approve of what I have suggested, but,

Is it TRUE?!?!?!? Ger will be Pertrucio in Taming of the Shrew!!!
That is my FAVORITE Shakespearian Play! Way back when during my
Senior year of college, I had to take a theatre class, and watched
a taped production with Marc Singer as Pertrucio and LOVED it!
The idea of seeing Ger in this (IMHO) best comedy of Shakespeares
makes methinks, this could be fun!

I'll only be either 7 or 8 months pregnant at that point, but
somethings are meant to happen! Please keep the list posted!
Seeing Ger in a true comedy could be LOTS of fun! and seeing him

Subject: Salt Lake City Party

Ok everybody in Utah, it's time to have another party. We gotta do
something to break up this winter, and we have a mandate. It's time
to bring some people over for February sweeps! (And no we won't let
Nick do it, we all know his track record!)

So everybody who was at the Provo party last summer, c'mon up, and
anyone new in the area, c'mon over and join the fun.

When: Saturday, February 17
Time: Around 6pm to whenever
Where: My place - 6934 South 745 East #D, SLC

Bring a friend. Bring a television executive, heck, bring Jon Feltheimer.

RSVP so we can get a fang count and figure out munchies. Questions?
Need details? email me for more info and directions and disclaimers .

I've got all seasons, (first season is Canadian) plus a couple of GWD's
movies and the Blooper Reel. However, some of season 1 is not the greatest
quality, so if you have some good quality season 1, or other stuff by our
favorite vampires, bring it with you.

Deborah,
Hi, if you don't have any luck with this, please let me know. Worse
comes to worse, my friend Paul who is not an FK fan,but a real nice
guy, moved out by you. He lives in Daly City. Thats close to SF right?
Anyway, I'm sure that I can get something out to him that he would be able
to in turn make up for you! He works in computer for a living,so he's pretty
good at this stuff. Just let me know and then I'll have Susan send him what
he needs and if I just direct him to the ftp site for the logos, I'm sure he
could come up with something or at least be able to specialize the one Lana has.
You'll have to excuse me if I don't have all the facts straight of what you
need, I am still very new to this computer graphics thing :)

I'm 24 (for another month at least <g>), and none of the things
you mention figure in to how I feel about LaCroix. There are some young
women who don't find it creepy. Even without considering the appeal of
what LC is, he still has a great deal of charm and sex appeal. And that
voice! For that matter Nick is older (in appearance, not counting vamp
years <G>), and I like him too. Just my opinion.

Nope. It was his storeroom. I was thinking that it might have been
either in the Joan of Arc ep or the one with his family (fleur), but, as
a couple of people mentioned, it is apparently fanfic that I'm
remembering and the show has never actually shown that Nick has a
storeroom of collected memorabilia. Wierd. I could have sworn that I'd
seen it. Methinks this falls under the category of YKYHBRTM fanfic...

yeah and the list didn't mention Ger's appearances on Kung Fu:TLC and

Not yet, another 3 months to go. Besides, being a bloodsucker is
_exactly_ the right thing to be to get Nick to bite you. I bite him. He
bites me. We both have a terrific time :)

Hi there. I am relatively new to this list having just been turned onto FK at
the beginning of the third season. Joined the list before but since my
address is an Elementary School I obviously did't have time to check it all
the time so I had to sing off. Am from the Baltimore area and our delightful
cable company and USA apparently can't seem to make up its mind whether or
not to air wrestling, boxing, Silk Stalkings, or FK, despite the listings
they post. Anyway, at the rate they are going and with the news that FK is
being cancelled, I will never get the entire series on tape and I was
wondering if there was a kind soul out there who would make copies. I will
supply tape, $$$, whatever. Anyone who is interested can e-mail me privately
at PowhatanES@a........

Thanks a bunch! Suzanne

Any chance we could get them in screensaver format, Jamie? <VBG> I want them

Maybe this was discussed before, and I was sleeping...

Watching NIQ again (taped) on Monday, I noticed that Nick, when
discussing his vampirism implied that he and Nat had been
"together". I can't quote exactly but he said that because of his
being a vampire they, "...could not be together like they were last
night."

Did I misinterpret something? Or am I just starved for new insights
since someone keeps resetting the VCR on Saturday nights and not
letting me tape my show!

Coke works really well as a rust-remover...I've used it for ages to loosen
bolts on bikes, etc...

Ahhh, Jackie! Have you tried it? ;) Maybe its due to the fact that my father
was about 20 years older than my mother...but I find older men *very* sexy
and always have! Then
again I find younger men sexy too...hmmmm...

I think that I shall just have to do something about my "vision" of LaCroix
and Tracy together...

But,seriously, I think that the feeling that some women have towards an
older man can be found back as far as high school when those "boys" were
just that "boys",but a college boy was a man! LaCroix to me would possess a
worldliness that Tracy seems to be sorely lacking and might just "loosen"
her up a bit!

The EEOC is _my_ screwup. Apparently it stands for equal employment
opportunity commission.

HOWEVER, when I posted this little ditty, I was thinking of the European
Economic Union they are trying to get together. No one around here can
come up with the name of this thing, but...

that is what I meant - that having Nick, LaCroix and Vachon was sort of
like your own little private european union.
