Subject: Houston FK Party

Last call for Houstonians!

Our Houston FK gathering will indeed take place this Sat. nite (1/27).

Dead of Night (a new episode)
   The illustrious Blooper tape
   Canadian episodes of first season
Plus a request-to-your-heart's-delight of any FK episode
   Nigel's famous oatmeal ads
Food (pizza, souvlaki & more), Games, Fun!

and (da-da-da) live, real time participation in the AOL Ger-conference!
What more could anyone ask?

Any Houstonians on the list that were not invited via email, please email
me privately. Or if you're from somewhere else and will be traveling here
next weekend, come on over!

This will be (I hope) the last onlist post about this. And, no, I don't
have the blooper tape.

Forever Knight is shown at 1am early Sunday on Fox (channel 5) in
NY/NJ. It's often delayed because of the football (sometimes by over an
hour), though that shouldn't be a problem now. It's also shown on WLIG
channel 55 which is carried on some cable systems in NJ. That's at
2.30am early Sunday.

Hope this helps.

Has anyone else noticed that the improvement in the last 4 eps? I was
talking with friend about this and it seems as thiugh the writers are
hitting their stride with the season finally. We also find it ironic that
the eps started getting better about the time of the decision....

Subject: A Gift Idea...

Hi,
I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before, but we have a local store
in our area called "Teddy Bears To Go" They have a large selection of teddy
bears, everything from Gunds to hand-mades to Muffy bears. I spoke to the
owner (I used to work ther p/t)
and she said that a mailing to Canada would take about 2 weeks, the hold up
being Customs. She UPS's everything. She has no minimum dollar amount on the
orders, but you are required to pay the usual shipping fees. She also said
that it would be no problem making up Vampire bears, she could add a cape and
fangs to a bear. These are all quality bears. They are sent with a balloon
and I never received a single complaint while I was working there, she really
does an excellent job and takes great pride in her work.
The number is 000-000-0000, please tell her that Annmarie sent you, she'll
know that its "extra special" then. she accepts Visa,Mastercard,Amex and
Discover.
the nice thing about sending a bear is that they last forever, her prices are
competitive when it comes to Gund etc. and her other bears are high quality
and reasonably priced, you would have no problem sending a nice bear for the
same price as a
floral arrangement. Just a thought...not only for the crew, but if anyone was
interested in sending anything to an affiliate or newspaper etc.

Subject: Top Ten / More Stable Positions

This list is respectfully dedicated to TVV Marci and Omni Rose,
aka Marci and Erin, who had to call off the AOL conference last Saturday
and tell us it was because they needed to "get Ger in a more stable
position."

TOP TEN MORE STABLE POSITIONS GER COULD BE IN

        10. Perched on top of the CN Tower.

         9. Missionary.

         8. Vampire on top.

         7. Standing at that cool only-the-undead-should-even-dare-to-
try-this 45-degree angle at the bar in the Raven.

         6. Impaled on the crucifix of endless, forever... angst.

         5. Sitting a red light, oops green light, in the Caddy,
               transfixed by a flashback.

         4. Strapped to yet another mad scientist's table in pursuit of
yet another hoax cure (I'm waiting for the laetrile
               flashback, any episode now)

         3. Holding the telephone receiver, ear at one end, mouth at the
other, and no fangs stuck in those pesky little holes.

         2. Barricaded in the loft with a horde of Knighties trapped in
               the elevator.

AND THE NUMBER ONE MORE STABLE POSITION GER COULD BE IN....

         1. Renewed for a full fourth season!

Cheers,

Apache

Wendy, we are proud of you for having given blood, despite fear and
fainting and everything else. The same goes to anyone and everyone who
donated. Aside from doing 'our bit' for the show, every pint matters...
there are shortages of blood all over the country; we may have just saved a
life or two, and that is a VERY good thing.

And to those who tried to donate but got turned down, or who can't even try
due to health problems... it's okay; we know you've done your best. If you
just can't shake the guilt (a la Nick?) just toss a couple more bucks
toward Pediatric AIDS. Every bit counts.

They advertise on my local radio station... as 000-000-0000.
Can they make three of them? A cape for each? Maybe saying
Nick, Lacroix, and Janette on them? I'd like the Janette one.

        Exciting News!!!!!

Electronic Media gave us a beautiful write-up! It can be found on Page 4
with a continue further in the publication AND a picture of Ger and John and
something else on the back inside cover, I don't have the exact details on that.

Mr Wallie did a fantastic job, I am told! And he had included quotes from
Andy Kaplan from TV Guide, I do not have the exact quotes so I have to
paraphrase,but...he said something to the effect that Tri-Star is painted
into a corner. Tri-Star has been quoted as saying they are "undecided" on
"Forever Knight" As Laurie says, Thats a lot better than cancelled!!! Cheers
guys! We're getting the word out there!!!

Laurie..I'm not sure if June told you,but just in case to let you and Laura
(Apache) know that they really appreciated the flowers that were sent, they
enjoyed them last night and now, they are using them as "gifts" to pass along to
"whomever" Tri-Star?
I should have better details tonight, they wasnted you to know though how
much they appreciated them!

IMPORTANT: I received a call from Columbia/Tri-Star...they said that there
are flyers out there with the incorrect phone number listed for Terri Jones
at Tri-Star...I
don't know which flyers these are! If someone has flyers out with a phone
number for Ms Johnson, the correct number should be 000-000-0000
Please let me know if you know the origin and whereabouts of these flyers
